Hamas drew the attention of the world to a 75 year old genocide on October 7th. Now the world knows and can never un-see the things that Israel has done and how it has corrupted all the governments of the West with money and gifts so that it could carry on its ethnic cleansing, its theft of land, its mass murder of children, its total destruction of the means to sustain life for the indigenous and peaceful people of Palestine.

Israel has NO "right to defend itself". As an occupying power, Israel has no such right to defend itself from those it occupies, only an obligation to end its occupation. This was made clear by UN Resolution 37/43 from 1982. It specifically notes "...the denial of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination, sovereignty, independence and return to Palestine and the repeated acts of aggression by Israel against the peoples of the region..." and therefore "Reaffirms the legitimacy of the struggle of peoples for independence, territorial integrity, national unity and liberation from colonial and foreign domination and foreign occupation by all available means, INCLUDING ARMED STRUGGLE” (emphasis added).

I agree. Media need to ask Why? Then ask why again, until there is an answer. Those leaders defending Israel are not even convincing when they make statements supporting Israel. So why are they siding with Israel when they obviously believe Israel are at fault, they are breaking International Law and brazenly provoking war in the region while confidently expecting western nations will have their back? It is absurd. So why does Israel hold such disproportionate power? Does Israel have material on these leaders and is blackmailing them? For certain, Israel has some form of leverage that is being kept hidden.
