Yeah this movie felt like it was only 1 hour long, went by so fast. To me this was a heightened hybrid of Fury Road and the Mad Max video game. Everything I loved from both and better than I could imagine.

100% it was such a blast and there were so many aspects to it that I wasn’t expecting but I enjoyed it more because it was so surprising.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Just finished watching Furiosa and agree with most of your points. This film is *very* different from Fury Road and I think that is what disappointed most people. Rather than just trying to top Fury Road and give us *more* of everything, Miller instead goes in a different direction and gives us a more traditional, more "normal," film. Rather than just one long 2-hour chase, Furiosa has more plot, more story and more dialogue. Hemsworth was *so* good in this and so funny; definitely the film's MVP. Playing a warlord that's too stupid to be afraid of anyone else, he blindly throws his minions at every challenge, never stopping to consider consequence or nuance. Let's hope we don't have to wait another decade for the next chapter in this saga:)

I think the fact that it dares to try something different makes it pretty memorable. I loved Furiosa’s journey and I think it makes Fury Road become one epic movie if you watch both movies back to back. It definitely has its flaws but for the most part this film flew by and I had a great time. Hemsworth was so good in this movie and I think he really enhances the screenplay with his performance. I am pretty interested to see where George Miller goes next and hopefully as you said it doesn’t take 10 years.

@@kaneeddy Since seeing it, it is only improving even more in my mind. And most of those thoughts are with Hemsworth's character. He does terrible things throughout the whole film and yet the character is so goofy and good natured, I'm bummed that we won't get another film just with him. But that's the brilliance of Miller's films; his world building and characters are almost second to none:)

Exactly and I think whatever Miller does next will be pretty interesting too. I believe that Dementus is definitely one of the best characters I’ve seen in this universe.
