In the 4th phase you can stand at the upper left corner and only have to dodge one of the shockwaves

The line is pretty fucking brutal on furier. That last set is brutal.

@@Hyperion856 That phase does become a bit easier with the Hand on Furier during his invincibility phase halfway through the fight, letting you at least have more health for the final phase of the Line, and as for the screen being filled with bullets, not really much of a comparison because even when the Line or the Song does it, there's plenty of room to move around

That horseshit that initiates at 4:53 is just absurd. Need last moment dash to get through he wide ass rings and waves, but she's spamming homing bullshit at you the entire time. The last two phases are nothing compared to that idiocy.

Nicely done! I have a lot of trouble on the last 2 phases of this boss, but after seeing how you did it. I might be able to do it, too.

Honestly. So fucked off rn, I keep taking a breather due to this but. I'll breeze thru every phase all the way up to the final stage get absolutely clotheslined and then can't even get past the second last phase to try again..

bruh. when you managed to dodge all the lasers in phase 3. always thought it was virtually impossible without destroying at least one of the nearby drones. and i only beat star on furi. wtf. mad skills

Something really cool that you can do is shoot the laser for the majority of dodging in that phase and using the bullets when not blocked by the unbreakable bullets and the hand will be destroyed before it can even start

Finally did this. I don't have any advice for that last phase- just dodge on rhythm and hope for the best. However, here's the strats I used for the third and 4th phases. 3rd phase: Begin by moving to the right and aiming your laser such that it hits the lower right blue helper and the right hand. Make sure you kill the blue helper so his laser won't be there in the laser section. For the rest of the non-laser section, keep firing lasers at the right hand (our right). When he switches to the laser section, on his first pass you can just dodge to the right, but on the second pass, you should be able to squeeze yourself into the upper left corner of the battlefield and hit the left hand point blank with normal shots. This should pretty much take out the left hand completely. Because you had already weakened the right hand previously, you can now kill the right hand quickly before he goes to phase 2. 4th phase: This took a while to figure out. Begin by going to the lower left corner and try to quickly kill the lower right helper before he can fire off a wave. You should now be safe for this phase, and out of range of the waves coming from the left. Now, fire exactly two lasers at an angle such that it hits the right hand and the upper right helper simultaneously. Before the phase ends, use your last laser to weaken, _but do not kill_ , the lower left helper. During the shockwave section, don't bother about trying to hurt the hands- focus on dodging and parrying the purple shots (this will be good practice for the 5th phase of the boss). As the next phase begins, quickly take out the lower left helper before he can fire off a wave. Fire three lasers at the left hand like you did the right last time. Use your 4th laser to weaken, _but not kill_ the lower right helper. Rinse, cycle, repeat. By the time you kill off a hand, you should have distributed the damage evenly enough that you can immediately kill off the right hand and not have to deal with the second phase. Also, during the first two phases, you seem to do more damage if you just wave your laser around his face (I think a bunch of hitboxes overlap). Good luck!

You make it look so easy. I've been trying the last 2 phase so many times. Extremely challenging.

This is when the game decided it wanted to go full touhou on you. More specifically touhou normal mode

Just did this, that final phase with the purple shot and shockwave barrage is hell. I only got through it with 2HP spare for the last two stages, beat it with 1HP and no spare lives.

Looks easier then I thought, the first 2 phases arent that bad but the last are literal hell

I'm really surprised that I beat The Star on Furier on my 2nd try, and the first death was only on phase 3 so I didn't see the difference in the final phase. I struggled quite a bit on normal mode but on Furier she didn't actually seem that much harder and at this point you're already so good at the game that it's nice to not have to worry about melee attacks and purely focus on dodging.

Thanks to the video beat it with 11 hits and 7 minutes. Even if it's a bit late 😅

I figured out that the fourth phase here (2:25) is much easier when you dodge across the orange orbs into the smaller areas in front of the drones. Just don't fully charge the dash. What I'm struggling with the most myself is the last phase 4:50 with the purple balls and laser.

+Catoboy Productions I eventually figured out that it is easier to get through the homing-purple-balls phase by going further up, the waves become thicker the longer they travel. The laser is simply about the right timing. The last part is basicly just like on FURI, but here you have to be more precise with your shots in order to destroy the red orbs fast enough.

Maybe a bit on the Burst because for the most part the issues comes from the last phase and the transistions between finding her and hitting her to initiate the first three phases

Hahahahaha hahahaha I can beat Furi version on first try with out losing a phase on the PC but Rarely can I ever even get to the final phase on my 10th try. IT SPAMS THE BULLSHIT WAY MORE TRUST ME

imagine trying this on pc... where your shoot aim is also your dash aim... trust me, it's horrible.

Not really, being able to see exactly where you’re going to end up when you dash was a MASSIVE help

After a couple of years of not playing it cuz I couldn’t get it right, I finally beat the boss 🎉🎉. Thanks for the video. I wouldn’t have done it w/o you 🫡🫡💯💯
