I could not disagree with what they were saying more. Yeah, you shouldn't "um akshually" your kid but that's not what they described. They described a kid being interested in something and his dad sharing his knowledge of the topic with the kid. Teaching him about the thing he was interested in. That section actually made me really, really mad.

Explain to me what the guy in that story did wrong? Because they said "Um akshually" but they didn't describe that happening. No where in the story did he slap the kid down or correct him on something, in their own examples the kid would point something out and the dad would share more knowledge about it.
