There is nothing that compares to the sound and feeling of a Nitro car launch it turns your senses to a whole new level!!If your close don't inhale too deep. But 6 to 8 ft header flames are spectacular.

Your a exactly right ! I,ve seen at least 20 NHRA National Events but these FCC are my favorites.

This is why I go to the march meet at famous at Backersfield and the nightfire nationals at Boise! Priceless!!!

No doubt, WE NEED MORE 60+ CAR FIELDS!!!!!! More Nostalgia car though!!!!!

32:44 mark is the best camera angle in the sport. Bring a static wall mounted camera with no zoom to the big show TV broadcast.

I remember as a kid going to Orange County and Seattle at night watching 30-68 funny cars at night in the 70’s and it was a quarter mile! Also, too bad this track didn’t hold the power and also only 1/8 mile.

I guess the Richard Hartman car is technically a " fuel altered " but really it's a nitro funnycar with a fuel altered body P.s. I have the pleasure of seeing 👀 a lot of these same fuel altereds and funnycars in this 🎥 movie at my home town track at Eddyville Iowa during the 🌎 World Fuel Altered Nationals and Funnycar Chaos ..... it's ALWAYS a BLAST 👍👁👁👍🏆🇺🇸

There is an automobile culture called "Shakotan" in Japan, and the height of the car is extremely low, and it is painted in a flashy color with very wide tires. It's like an Funny car. Although the horsepower is 1/30.

Does anybody know what happened to the funny car Bayou Shaker ??? I sat in that car when I was about 12 yrs old !!!!

Theyre only going 1/8th of a mile. The least they could do is 1000 ft.

this video rocks but the made in America funny car bugged me a bit . it has in my opinion a weak paint scheme as far as patriotism.should have draped the American flag over the front and had it waving half way down the sides .i do graphic art work if its a wrap hit me up ill make and send you a file with some concept art for free.or id airbrush it on if it is paint also for free .just saying as a veteran an artist i am over the top bigger than life kind of patriot.

Ugly cars more like it. Funny cars lost it when they squashed the bodies in a king size vise.

You so obsessed with the camera angles we end up seeing no complete races. Stop showing the pit crew cheering and show the race! What a waste of time
