How can people be so cruel to abandon, abuse and mistreat these beautiful creatures of God. Humans are cruel, no wonder our world is in such turmoil.

What can you say.... They are beyond words. They are best dogs in the world. Once you have one... you can never be happy without a Dachshound in you life. The more the better. They are the ultimate perfect companion. Yes... as you can see I adore them.

What do I love the best? I can't decide. The perked up ears, the paws when they sleep on their backs, the eyes looking at you begging, their personality, their cuddling sitting on their hind quarters... !?

Dachshunds = furry happiness.

Very smart dogs. My grandfather raised them, my father gave me one for my 11th birthday. Her name was Greta. She passed when I was 21! Roll forward to now and I am sitting here with my doxie I rescued soon to be 13 years old. Yes I have had him 13 years. The best dogs ever!!!!❤

I'm overdosing on too much cuteness overload right now.

"Now, ... if I could only reach the peddles, I could drive to the doggy store and the doggy park, any time I wanted." He's thinking.

Mine crossed over three weeks ago, and the apartment is SSOOOOOO empty without her... Taking some time and i will look into getting another one.

I have two 6-month old dapple doxies. One is deaf and the other has extra digit on her hind legs. They're angels once up on the couch, but when they're outside, oh man they chew on anything that fits in their mouth! Nonetheless they are adorable.

Having grown up with doxies it has been my experience that they will chew on just about anything, whether or not it fits in their mouth. If it doesn't fit it gets drug all over the house. Lol

😀 they give you unconditionally love. They have great personalities, they are very protective, even between my husband & myself. He gets so jealous when we sit 2gether. It’s funny. He’ll get up & squeeze in between us. I always say he was reincarnated from someone that really loved me. 😂🤣 he really is my love & believe me this is coming frm someone that never wanted a dog. Once I saw him @ 3wks old, there was no turning bk. ❤️
