This is what happens when you hire your family and friends who don't know what the heck they are doing. But want to walk around with big brasses because they are in charge. This, and surrounding yourself with "yes" people who are just as worse.

HUD needs serious reform and oversight.

A few weeks ago the NY Federal housing authority had over 70 of their employees arrested for taking bribes and kickbacks for contracts to maintain the section 8 housing. Most of the 70 arrested were supervisors and managers. The work was not being done and millions ended in the pockets of those involved in the contracts. This story is another reason why I oppose high income taxes. The money is NOT accounted for and it goes to those who did NOT earn it.

@@VGHCX yes I'm following this story still. A story out in Milwaukee Arkansas Mississippi Chicago Atlanta Cincinnati Ohio all have the same story. Tenants not having their recertifications done because either the property doesn't have a property manager or ECT I feel this is all political Look up Common Ground story in Milwaukee And lastly, all these articles are saying there's a glitch allegedly in the HUD system 🤔

Here in Minneapolis HUD isn't doing it's job. They are letting a management company and nonprofit landlords get away with not doing recertifications for 3 years and now the tenants are having to deal with outstanding balances even retaliation evictions notices because the tenants are organizing everyone

Fulton is a bad place to live. Police department espcial zone 1 terrible.

We have the same problem in northeastern Indiana is horrible because they go off their economic growth

Make it near impossible to keep up with their demands to get a voucher in the first place. I went through all kinds of crap , waiting two years to get one, just for landlords to say oh no no no.

So people from other cities and states are saying they are experiencing the same. Whats going on across the board? I see its mentioned growth in these areas

Get rid of the ones in charge and *THEN* get the ones who do have the education, *EXPERIENCE,* and skillset. In fact, the experience goes a long way before education. You can have the education and *STILL* not know what you are doing. I'm working in it right now. (What is it... 5 to 6 more years until retirement? I don't know if I'll last that long.)

That's true, it wouldn't matter if they had plenty of education. There's some people that are just born to be crooks. They're probably pocketing the money. No different than a thief. It's hard enough on people not being able to find a place to live as it is nowadays. There's already too much homelessness. People can't keep living this way. Can't afford housing, food, clothes, etc. Meanwhile the crooks are getting richer. I always thought Dem. were for thier fellow man, but that's not true anymore. These people running this country now are only out for themselves.

They need to hire me to be director of operational affairs I would make sure problems get fixed and I'm not gonna be there to be friends only to serve the people and making sure they live in livable homes and make sure the system is updated as I would have a tech support staff maintenancing and updating systems periodically any one reading this if you have a brain you know I'm about business and I will go above and beyond my heart goes to all families suffering behind people not doing their jobs I know Atlanta and I know Hud they can lie and be inside throwing a whole party claiming they working but really not.
