just the polar differences in morale too between the sides, england drop some sitters and everyones all grumpy then you got the aussies who were up and active all game taking some absolute belters, haddins catching behind the stumps was near perfection all series, the bottom edge on stokes was a gorgeous catch

'Australia needed someone to stand up, and today it's Steve Smith'. What a prophetic statement.

Geroge Bailey coming in at 6, and Haddin coming in at 7. Such a good batting lineup.

I feel like Michael Carberry is one of the unluckiest cricketers of all time, definitely deserved more than 6 tests imo. Especially with dismissals like this one and that one when it rolled back to his stumps.

Yeh - me too - was the ball of the summer - despite all the brilliant ones that Johnson, Harris, Lyon and Siddle bowled... That was an absolute corker... The way it swung late - virtually unplayable, and would have got almost anyone playing it !! Unlucky for Cook - he copped a few other Jaffa's besides that one.

I still remember those cracks on WACA. One of the Commentator entered his wrist onto one of those cracks. one of the worst pitch ever. But loved it how pacers used it in day 4&5

u gotta feel for Cook,First ball of the innings and he faced a gem of a delivery from harris

cohen200 No, you have it completely wrong. The stadium is shut down for rebuilding because the major lack of shelter, lack of food varieties and the WACA just generally is getting too old, just like the Adelaide oval. Get your facts straight, even if you are corrected after 6 months.

Stokes and bell played quite well. It is never easy to chase 504 in 4th inning still they reached 340+ that's quite better
