Introduction Of Orange Line Metro Train:
Orange Line is an automated rapid transit system in Lahore, Pakistan. Its Pakistan's first metro train since the Karachi Circular Railway which had closed its operations during 1999. The line spans 27.1 km (16.8 mi) with 25.4 km (15.8 mi) elevated and 1.72 km (1.1 mi) underground. The line is served by 26 stations and is expected to handle 250,000 passenger daily. Orange Line trains are each composed of five wagons (with 4 doors each used) manufactured by China's CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive, and automated and driverless. The maximum speed of the trains is 80 km/h (50 mph). But During My Journey maximum speed of the train is 73 km/h. The Orange Line's jointless track circuits. Track is standard gauge at 1435mm.The trains powered by a 750-volt third rail.
It is a part of the wider CPEC China Pakistan Economic Corridor, the Orange line is being financed by both the Government of Pakistan, and Government of China.
History:
Construction works on the project began in October 2015. CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive rolled out the first of 27 trains for the metro on 16 May 2017. 1st Testing and trial runs began in March 2018. On 25 October 2020, Orange Line Train was inaugurated & Open For Public. The project cost is Almost USD 1478.18 Million

China se compare karo China me 6007 km metro hai 40 city me. America me 1325 km, japan me 868km, South Korea me 780 km aur India me abhi sirf 729 km hai.

Be it Chennai,Delhi,Mumbai, Bangalore or Kolkata metro it is electric, but LAHORE metro is still diesel.....hahahahahaha....i know Pakistan govt. sucks, but never thought they go the 20th century way..hahaha

@@insaan2695 India will add 7 new metro in 4 years, meaning adding almost 1.5 metros every year to become total 20 metros.India started metro only in 2002 and Delhi metro going to become top 5 in few years.India in good pace of its infrastructure upgrade for past 2 decades.Yes the country now record 585 billion dollars of forex reserve.
masyaallah pakistan already has a metro which is 27km long while we are in Jakarta only 16km long. I'm jealous 😭😭😭

@@bravecatofficial1307 no Japan still uses old technology, for example, we still supply electricity to the train using upstream. while in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore already provide electricity to trains via rail. Their construction is also very slow they need 5 years to build an MRT in Jakarta which is only 16km long and takes 7 years of construction for the current second phase which is only 7.8km away yes I really like them implementing the system here. Our MRT and Commuter trains are rarely late

And it actually called overhead system 1500v needed very cheap and risk free and this lahore metro line called 3rd rail line system 750v expensive and also risky

expiry time of ticket 90 minute. you can travel many trips on ticket duration time other vise fine charged. one more thing if you left the platform & token enter in exit machine, bought token again for other trip
