Full Testimony: Hannah Payne Takes the Stand in Citizen's Arrest Turned Deadly Trial

Ойын-сауық

Hannah Payne testified in her own defense Monday during the deadly citizen’s arrest trial. Payne is accused of murdering Kenneth Herring when she confronted him after a hit-and-run crash in Georgia back in May 2019. During her testimony, Payne testified that she never pulled the trigger and that her gun fired during an altercation with Herring. The 25-year-old faces several charges including felony murder and malice murder.

Plus it's on video! Granted, you can't see his finger, but it's pretty clear from the footage that she was the one who pulled the trigger. It's like she thought people would believe her words over the evidence that they could see with their own eyes. Textbook gaslighting. Perhaps you didn't review all the evidence. Unfortunately her attorney was not great, and it was the prosecuting attorney that lied over and over again, but unfortunately it wasn't always caught. For instance, dispatch told her to get the license plate number after initially saying not to chase after them. Then dispatch told her after she got the number, that BOTH of them should go back to the original crash site, which means that she had to tell him that. Yet the lawyer continued to contradict herself saying that the woman was entirely at fault for trying to get the license plate number, and approaching him. NO, dispatch TOLD HER TO APPROCH HIM when dispatch said the word "BOTH". If anyone should be on trial and in prison it is that 911 operator.

@@mzbatonrougebeauty5267 No dispatch told her once, then after Hannah said "I'm just getting his number" she didn't respond back and say "no don't do that" she let her do it. Then when she got there dispatch told her that both of them, not just her, need to go back to the scene. That means she needed to tell him to go back to the scene. Dispatch is to blame for the incident. If dispatch wanted her to not approach him all they had to do was say "okay now go back to the crash site, don't worry about him" instead it was "okay now I want you both to go back". Only after she said he was shot did she say "mam you weren't supposed to follow him". All that time she was silent on the phone she could have said don't bother, go back now but she didn't say that. The lady from 911 dispatch saw it as an opportunity for Hannah to help out, and forced Hannah to get involved by saying "both". There's no other way around it. I would have done the same thing as Hannah. The criminal who caused the accident left the site and the police were still not there after 30 minutes and somehow he is painted as absolutely innocent. Well, no he's not. Just because he died, whether from his own pulling the trigger or from Hannah, it doesn't exonerate the fact that he was a criminal.

She's also claiming he injured her. If someone attacks me, whether I'm inside my car or anywhere, that person better believe they'll get hurt in return. This woman is shameless.

That girl 100% inserted herself into that whole situation. If your going to be a witness be a witness and it was not her job to go after the guy. The cops could have gotten his vehicle description and plates from any of the 500 cameras in the vicinity. And then if it was necessary the officer was there so this makes no sense other than she wanted to be the hero that turned into a zero when she shot him. Terrible decision.
