God that takes terrible parenting to another level

My parents were like this except ive got two siblings once my dad remarried it was him and his wife as a team and as long as me and my brothers were fed it didn’t matter what we did or how we felt as a child it’s heartbreaking cause ur parents are ur world there where u look for comfort and answers and when ur parents are more interested in being a couple than a parent alot of questions go unanswered and its like trying to guide your way in a dark room with a broken flash light sure youve got the flash light but it doesnt do anything to help ur just carrying junk and untill u get rid of that junk and stop trying to rely on the broken flashlight u wont go anywhere but further into darkness parents have there own lifes but dont let your kids suffer at the expense of that cause they didnt ask to be here and unless you give then the tools to thrive there not gonna want to be here

Kinda weird that they are surprised now when he says that their son has brought it all up before but they have proudly ignored… Even weirder is that no one else, like the grandparents, asked them what the hell they are doing as parents?

Other than the vacations it honestly doesnt seem that bad to me. Although this is coming from someone who k ows for a faxt that their parents didnt want them at all. The only reason my dad stayed in my life as long as he did was cuz he didnt want to have to pay more child support.
