Most podcasts are not reliable especially those “alpha male” podcasts of men saying women are seeking attention with their period pain. My period pain can range from “ok this isn’t that bad” to “ OH MY GOD HELP ME I AM DYING”.

Whoever calls themself a alpha male, do not trust a word that comes out of their mouth unless it’s something objectively true but I would take anyone calling them selves a alpha male as a red flag, right there

I don’t get periods (I wasn’t born female) but a lot of my friends have them, and apparently they’re hell. He nor those podcasts have any right to talk about them as if they know what they’re like

Issue with judging period pain is that it's super subjective and severe cramps are a literal medical condition . I've known people who either barely felt anything to those who get partially crippled

Someone I know used to get cramps so bad she’d throw up out of pain. She wouldn’t be able to walk without sobbing and she says it was often where she ended up curling into a ball on the floor because of the severity of the cramps she had.

She had every right to call him out on his bs and honestly if he was really being disrespectful towards her and just SAYING they are together to everyone without her knowing thats NEVER okay. Whatever podcasts hes listening to its definitely not from real men saying what they need to especially to help young boys become men. I'm glad she wont have to deal with him anymore becuz i probably would've handled it differently especially if he tried kissing me or something.

Not only does this sound fake, but it sounds like what a leftist person who has only heard of what conservative people want from other leftist. Absolutely none of the conservative podcasts promote being a pussy and pretending to being in a relationship with a girl. 💯 of them say being a man is taking control of your life. Stepping up and taking accountability for your life and actions. Understanding female nature and more importantly, understanding your self worth and not settling for less. None of that that boy did. This entire story just sounds like a creative writing story from a leftist cultists who hates conservative people and just wants to consider them as subhuman devils.

  • @Eddison33

I'm sorry it happened. Unfortunately, stories like that are true. I got a similar story from a third-person perspective. I had a male friend I'd known for over 7-8 years. He used to be a quiet and rather nice guy. When we grew up and studied at universities, he got really frustrated with dating and his failures in romance. As a chronically online person, he adopted some pretty fucked-up manosphere ideas that at that time, helped him in coping and making sense of his failed attempts. There was a girl he knew from his uni, and they were good friends. They played games online together almost daily for some time, and they often spent hours just chatting via Discord. While rarely meeting IRL, their bond was quite cool - they were honest with each other, shared a sense of humour, had similar hobbies, and had a good time. And then, he started acting as if they were dating, without even asking her. She went along with that, thinking it was just a running joke, as he usually did. Yet, it wasn't, and things escalated pretty quick. He started being extremely controlling and possessive, shaming her for talking to other men, not calling him while he was online... Eventually, he dropped a bomb in the shape of his incel views and what he thinks women should be, and rightfully so, she blocked him everywhere. I think I failed him as a friend too: I should have called him out on his bs more often and tried discussing it seriously. Instead, I considered he was ironic and it was just some of his dumb imageboard memes (I did like them, despite casual racism and sexism). We're no longer friends and I cannot change anything, but please, try to learn from this story: it doesn't have to end this way, if there are people who can challenge such bs views and provide a better alternative, out of care and not out of blame.

Tbh I believe in letting relationships form naturally. For me, it's because if i don't I feel obligated to change who I am, but that's not what love is. Love is getting to be with your best friend for the rest of your life. Of course, at some point the conversation should be had and the question of "are we dating? Are we in a relationship?" Should be had, but by that point it should be easy to not change who you are solely for the sake of "I'm in a relationship now".😊

My mother is conservative and I would consider myself one too. I have questionable and controversial opinions aswell on some things. But objectifying woman I do not stand for. It is sad that from one podcast your controversial opinion can turn into an extreme. We live in a broken world where everyone is at each other's throats. Many woman saying all men need to die well many men objectify woman as nothing but sex tools. I believe in different roles for men and woman, but I do believe we are equal in value, just with different God giving roles when married. Again, this world is broken and we are all sinners. Men and women going at each other's necks, blacks and whites at each other's necks, accusations and such. It's pathetic.

I had a similar experience with my best friend of years as well except for the part where he thought we were dating but we had been best friends for so long and then he asked me out so we started to date it was a bit weird for me bc it was the first time i ever dated I was 16 at the time and i had been sexually harassed before and he knew it time passed and i got cheated on when I found out why i saw how my once best friend who respected women turn into one who thought he could own them I went no contact after that his ass is blocked now

See this is what happens when you listen to "aLpHa pOdCaStS", now, I'm not saying someone will look at 1 alpha podcast and think, "Okay, it's okay to think that men are better than women", but I'm saying it comes from watching too many podcasts, watching too much TV, watching too much tiktok, you name it. Social media is way more damaging than you may think, your opinions, your political beliefs, your lifestyle, your tone, your attitude, all of these things can change from too much social media, and what's funny is I didn't even name half of what social media can and has caused to change about people, pretty much most things about you can change due to social media, of course with exceptions. What I'm trying to say is, don't use a significant amount of your days on social media, I'm not saying that you can't get on social media again, I'm saying try to limit the time you spend with it. Thank you if you read all of that and even if you didn't, I hope you have a nice day.
