Hola.

You know that Kalok drives where garbage. Kalok's ads used to say their drives has less parts in them than normal hard drives. The drives we tested back in the day all had 5MB of bad sectors at the end of the drive, which is pretty bad.

I mean the SS Drive is nice, but dude the mechanic disk is better

Nowadays, CF cards are cheaper, more reliable and faster than hard drives, in addition to how convenient it is to modify data from any modern computer using a card reader, it is true that the noise of the disk is missed when it is working, but breakdowns on such old drives are very common.

I'm not sure I'd be happy poking a metal screwdriver into an AT PC to turn it on and off.

No problem, the switch inside is fine, what I do is press on the plastic of the switch itself

The point is, with an AT machine, there is mains voltage at that switch, unlike a more modern ATX system.

All you are missing is a 3.5 inch zip drive 🤣

ZIP drives look better on a computer from 98 to 2004, on a Pentium 3 for example.
