This woman's beauty was hidden by an unflattering style before the cut. Her style and elegance is now enhanced.

Love the hair style on her. I was taught to not cut our hair while wet due to lack of elasticity. that's why the sides around the ear probably came up shorter.

Key word is 'WHAT HE WANTED'. The question is, did she really want her hair cut the low around the ears and nape. I'm sure as a woman, and if she had a choice, I doubt she would have opted to go that short in those areas...SMH

I've been a Master Barber 35yrs, this youngman didn't cut this young ladies hair properly. He is correct the haircut is the style however, he took her hairline up too far on the back of her neck and around her ears. Too much of her neck is exposed. The truth of that haircut will show when she goes to have her hair restyled. The unfortunate fact is, if the next stylist doesn't have wisdom enough to not touch her line just leave it natural they will end up moving her hairline up even further.

elijah smith that’s not true or nice to say people ‘like you” because that’s the reason why there is a comment section, yes some people do get mean in the comments, I don’t think that was the case with Kimberly’s comment, we gotta learn to take correction sometimes, not everything is judging, this stylist is young still, so his still going to learn a lot more along the way from other stylist, & if his not open to that & thinks his way is the only way he won’t make it in this industry, I myself had to do the same thing learn from others

Love it! I’m 62 almost 63 and I tried the longer length and it drags the face down! It’s not a good look for me! been natural off and on all my life! Spent 10 yrs natural and I’m over that! natural hair is work! And yes you can still have damage with natural hair! See my girl may 4 2018 can’t wait!

Ok, sooo... for me... i think he CUT WAAAAY too much of her hair off... and THAT it's UNEVEN in some parts (The BANGS and behind her ear) too! Like, I know he said he was cutting a pixie but it came off like he was just CHOPPING too much on some parts... I'm glad you said that, cause I was NOT impressed and would have been MAD had I paid for this....

Great cut nice! I did the big chop in Dec 2017 in that style n loved it with my natural hair! Since then I've been wearing it in my natural curls that I fell in love with! 😃

I love her reaction to it and it does look really good on her ❤️

Wow! Total transformation! He didn’t mess up the left side above her ear. We all have uneven hairline and I always end up with a different look on my left side of the ear, no matter who cuts it. Once it grows a little, it will not be noticeable.

Too much! Hair cutting has to make sense when you know when to stop! When you started cutting above the parietal line, there was a good length. Stylists piss me off when they just don't know when to quit. I used to be a professional stylist and know what I'm talking about.
