Full Pantry Tour 2023 on our New Homestead - Building our own Grocery Store -

Pantry Tour 2023: Stocking Up & Staying Prepared on our New Homestead
It's finally here! The highly anticipated Pantry Tour 2023 at our new homestead in our new pantry. As summer turns to fall, we've been busy filling our shelves with the fruits of preservation season. In this video, we'll take you on a journey through our well-organized pantry, showing you the variety of foods we've carefully stored for the upcoming months.
We've stocked up on home canned goods, freeze-dried, and store-bought cans, creating a diverse and resilient food supply. To keep our provisions safe, we use sturdy tubs to protect against pesky critters and ensure everything remains in pristine condition - and great shelving!
We also walk you through our freezers and fridges.
Pantry tours like these not only provide inspiration but also foster a sense of solidarity within the community of preparedness enthusiasts. We love watching others' pantry tours because they encourage us, offer fresh ideas, and help us identify opportunities to enhance our food storage strategies. Join us on this tour, share your thoughts, and let's continue this journey of readiness together!

Very impressive! I'm happy to see that there are others out there who have preps/stockpiles on the larger side. My friends and family tend to make me feel a little crazy because of the size of my stockpile. It's nearly my entire basement. But hey, we're living in crazy times. I can't help it that they can't see it.

Nice tour and you presented very well. Nice steady pace of narration. I haven't seen dried green beans in about 50 years. I am from the West Coast and I had never heard them called leather britches. My ex mother-in-law from Virginia taught me to string them and I dried them hanging from the ceiling above the grate in the floor above the furnace in the basement. Dehydrated green beans. They made great cooked green beans. That was before I started canning way back then. Thank you for your tour.

Frozen foods will keep each other at safe temperature for many days. Meat can be smoked, preserved in salt, et. She can also keep a supply of extra canning products and quickly can much of it. If summer, can set out in a mesh natural dehydrator. In the meantime, well prepared for not having to go out in bad weather, not having to worry about shortages, dealing with panicked buyers in more likely emergency situations, better health control of food for family, and just plain convenience and peace of mind; would make it all worthwhile to me. 😁

I have a question. Isn’t it important to store products for your vehicle? I’m thinking that having oil, antifreeze and all of the fluids needed for a vehicle would be very important to have on hand. What happens if stores close or we are forced into a shft situation and our vehicles need maintenance? Just wondering why most prepped homesteaders don’t store products for vehicles maintenance. So we use that in smoothies! We love our Vitamix, so we’ll drop in a bunch of frozen fruit, some homemade yogurt, our freeze dried greens powder, and some pea protein to make a smoothie for a meal or snack!

Keep your table salt you have to have salt it's a important electrolyte they always put salt as the bad guy when you have high blood pressure or heart attacks but the point is controlling the amount of salt, plus table salt usually has iodine which is important to control goiter I have had heart attack, worked 9 years on a cardiac unit in a hospital as a registered nurse and the truth is they don't really know what causes high blood pressure but these are just my opinion I can't offer medical advice too much of anything is bad for you just as not enough is just as bad I love your pantry God bless

We are not. My husband loves old chapels on hills. His family is from WV. And he is a blacksmith.
