Here’s an update to my arrangement/cover of the song “Smile” heard in the anime Full Moon Wo Sagashite. It's been a few years since I uploaded my first version of it (actually, a combination of the v1 of the "advanced" and "simplified" versions). As the time passed and I worked on other projects, I wondered what I could change to "do right" by the song (note - the original video is fine) with what I've learned in both the sheet music side and the Pro Tools side. Originally I had intended to change only a couple parts and get a new Pro Tools version out but...I ended up going into a perfectionist mode on this song in particular so the process dragged out FAR longer than intended. I'm sure there's more I could do, but...I guess it's time to just let it go for the time being? As the refrain goes - Don't forget to smile~
By the way, if the song seems soft at first...don't adjust the volume too much. It'll swell up later on!
