This is a 50-50 match, they have equal of quality of skill, Alexis was younger but so much more mature than Trul, Trul behaved like a child, so nervous and unmature

Alexis played unbelievably good it was stunning to watch and yet sad to see that Truls had nothing to set against him yes even was quite lazy in the first set - anyways great to watch ❣ I'm curious how Alexis is doing against Lin Yun-ju next round

The difference here is the mental game. i think and hope Truls will improve his attitude a lot in coming years. At his best we get J-O wibes. Great artist and good for the sport. Congrats to Alexis.

Truls's backhand blocks often gave a far too easy ball for Alexis to attack (slow/high), and Truls sometimes seemed taken off-guard by the balls that Alexis was able to return, especially after his step-around attacks. Alexis also successfully attacked through many of Truls's tricky shots. Many great rallies, though!
why doi't all TT videos have 50fps? This one is so much more comfortable to watch
can someone explain why in 1:25 is point for Truls?, i'm sure the ball hit by alexis are reach to the table

Alexis is faster and more secure overall. Truls plays more on chance and needs to improve his speed, backhand and sharpness. Alexis is going to be a star soon!

I noticed that the scoring made mistakes! She's rubbish, fire her! She corrected it, then took the point back at 4-8! This is what I've noticed so far, how many more mistakes am I to finish watching with?!
I always thought rackets had strings. And table tennis players used bats.

Alexis looks like a future world champ. I think he should be able to beat all Chinese players this year.

Okay let's not get ahead of ourselves. Alexis has a lot of potential. But he still needs a lot more finesse to reach chinese players level IMO.

I'm waiting for that aswell actually I hope to see him in finals soon...he's moved to last 16 now and next game is Lin Yun-ju not chinese but a very very very tough cookie....Truls has good chances because of his creativity but Alexis really has the speed to keep up with the chinese because they are a whole different level when it comes to fast perfect shots...I'm not sure Alexis is ready yet
