I love to see Moregard win this match. I like his play style, change of spins and rhythms, which create so many attack opportunity for him. And when he attacks, he acts like a tiger, aggressive and accurate, without mercy. As a Chinese TT fan, my NO. 1 favorite play is FZD and the second 1 is Tuels Moregard. Wish Moregard wins more. ❤❤

Yes, I think Moregard is very Chinese in his own way. For Chinese players, the most important thing is control and feeling... that's why they loved Waldner.

@@marcosguglielmettilike you point. Some current top players are so quick and hit hard, very dangerous in attacks. But lucking controls. Suck as Harimoto, Liang etc. Seems only way to win is to hit harder, then even harder. Maybe this is why they are so strong, but difficult to dominate a big tournament where every top player is playing.

Maaaan, this is one of the most interesting matchups as of late. These two have a strong rivalry going on and up until 3 months ago Alexis was clearly leading (3:1 or sth). Moregard finally recovered, winning their last 2 encounters and now it's even (3:3 or sth). It was very hard for me to pick my favorite in this match because Alexis shook the earth by eliminating world class Chinese players like FZD etc with his youthful explosiveness. He's very entertaining. But Moregard still is my favorite and I really wished for him to level the total score - well done and keep going. Very excited to see how this rivalry continues and also Moregard vs. Félix Lebrun

Fascinating game. Such a shame WTT doesn’t know how to televise table tennis. High side camera angle is terrible, can’t see spin, flight
Brilliantly played Truls!

Alexis se laisse porter par son temperament. Il devrait apprendre a se controler, et prendre un peu plus de temps avant ses services. Peut-etre avec l'age viendra plus de maturité. Did they change the rules or why is Lebrun hitting the ball over the game when serving?
13:36 と 20:54 ここのレシーブ完璧過ぎて笑う
Making opponent nervous to be ready or not when serve occurs by intentionally not looking to the other side, should be treated properly. Lebrun deserves at least yellow, better red card.
Always nice to see the attitude of Lebrun losing.
If the ref won't point out bad serves then why have any service rules? Alexis's second serve at 0:11 clearly shows him making contact with the ball above the table not behind the back line of the table. These guys are the best. Why do they feel the need to "cheat" to win?

Seemed more of a delaying tactic than not being ready to play. Is raising the hand an official call for a impromptu timeout?
@zeleony05
7 ай бұрын
@@dubmob151 09. A LET A rally is a let: 9.1 If in service the ball, in passing over or around the net assembly, touches it, provided the serve is otherwise good or is obstructed by the receiver or his partner. 9.2 If the service is delivered when the receiving player or pair is not ready, provided that neither the receiver nor his partner attempts to strike the ball. Raising the hand had been the gesture to show that the player is getting ready to play. It would only be bad mannered if you raise your hand be in ready position then raise your hand again if there is nothing disrupting the point to be played. For example a flash, a ball, someone passing, loud noise, etc.. Some players stop the play when those things happen and umpires usually allow that if it is reasonable. The last word is always the umpires. Sometimes umpires will call everything and anything, but in this case Truls had all the rights to do it. If anything... what Alexis did at 0:55 should be unacceptable.
They guy who is handling the point counter must be drunk 😅 first he forgets the 4th point, then he jumps right to 5, then back to 4 😂😂😂 1:24

I gotta say, I do not enjoy the arrogance displayed by Moregard, in general and by Lebrun serving so immediately; I got the feeling this is the new way of how table tennis should be executed. I am missing that gentleman's atmosphere that used to be absolutely normal for Boll, Samsonov, Waldner aso.

He always does that, yet people believes other players are bm. Because Alexis doesn't wait for them to be ready before play.
To me Lebrun is not really that much of a good player in regard to world`s elite. I really can`t understand how he could win against FZD, or better, how FZD could lose against him. Compared to him FZD is such a mental and skillwise giant that there no comparison at all. There are rarely any long and good rallies in all of his matches and somehow he seems to get most of the points with his good serves. It seems the more his opponents get to know him and his serves the more likely they will win against him. He is very hectic and nervous in all his behaviour especially on serves, I have never seen anyone rushing this hard for every serve, no phase of concentration at all. To be honest, I don`t really like him and the french coach even less, he is always looking like a psycho and never with a friendly and positive face.

@@suge59700saying freitas is lower rated is the same as saying fzd losing to ma long would be a shock, just because of ranking. The thing is that pace in todays game is a very important factor but if corrupted a bigger liability.
