So damn cool! You got nailed by Mustangs 2 or 3 times before you even saw they were there. I suppose it's like they said in the pilot histories, you won't see the one that gets you.

Don´t know why, but I find glorious the moment when white 14 jettisons his fuel tank. Great vid, thanks for share.

The mission is set in June 1944, at that time JG2 was stationed in France. It would still be possible for them to attack bombers around berlin, though.

+Fishyyy yes, they had quite a bit of ground to cover (with JG26 present as well), Bay of Biscay to Norway more or less, as you are obviously well aware. Awesome vids man, keep em coming!

Very nice series in this format with no commentary but complete missions recorded. In this game i only regreat the horizon line curvature - its two wide to seems realistic. You do navigate in realistic mode following beacons. Congrats!

One of my favorite sim to play. Have a few custom installs.

Nice. The way this mission panned out was quite convincing for a late war mission. Attack some bombers... Try to set up another attack... Go after a straggler... Get hit by fighters!

The great luftwaffe ace's claimed the BF 109 was the true fighter pilot's aircraft, but the lethality and survivability of the 190 makes it the best warbird on offer. So go figure.

32:05 ish mark... that Pony just lit you all up to hell and back.

The vanilla game supports music. You can copy sound files into your radio folder and it will get played if you select the right beacon.

Why fw-190 especialy A models (in Il-2 1946 game) always turning slightly to right and how to solve that plane will fly straight? I should always correct to left if I want flight straight. I know how work trim elevator corection, but i dont know how solve "turning right" problem.

Many planes in the game don't have aileron or rudder trim, because some real planes hadn't those. These planes have asymmetrical control surfaces to counter the torque created by the engine. That only works at one specific engine setting, though.

Thanks for answer. I found solution: 1. in dificulty setting option torque efect must be ON 2. engine power must be 50 % or more. When I use both (and correct trim elevator all the time), 190 flights straight.

Richtig gut! Du musst mir mal verraten, wie man "La Chute" installiert. In welchen Ordner muss man den Zip-Ordner speichern? Das steht nicht bei SAS46.

+space4blunt Die Installation ist unterschiedlich bei den verschiedenen Versionen, aber bei HSFX einfach den Inhalt des .zip in jsgme packen, JSGME ausführen und da die map anschalten.

+Fishyyy The holes in your cockpit it's what's wrong. NEVER attack a bomber from the rear unless you know the rear gunners are dead. Luftwaffe pilots and all ww2 pilots attacked them from high angles(boom and zoom tactic) or frontally or side attacks sometimes. I know there are videos up there where you see bombers being shot from behind but the gunners are absent or dead.(no return fire).

+GLaDOS I wasn't hit by the gunners, i was hit by P-51s. You have no time to set up perfect frontal attacks every time, when fighters are around.

+Fishyyy Hmm yes , i watched the video more careful and indeed you were nailed by fighters ..still a very dangerous tactic rear attacks on bombers... i agree with you on having no time to set up attacks, friendly AI sucks. If you had 1 or 2 human friends to cover you ..

The shot on the head could've glanced and left him bleeding. A hit in the shoulder is not lethal (unless it hit an artery, and even then chances are he could still fly this baby home)

The mods i use in this video are stated in the description. HSFX is a mod pack, so in order to know exactly which mods are in it, you need to check the HSFX readme.

Fishyyy, why did you decide to re-attack an already smoking bomber? I would choose to hit as many as I can; once one engine is hit, they'll stray and miss their destination anyway. Maybe it's a matter of more points for heavier damage?

You need to finish bombers, to get points. Damaging an engine is not enough to down one.

The 1946 expansion added untested or even unbuild planes to the game. The setting is a "what if" scenario, contemplating what aircraft would have been used if WW2 went on
