Very cool build! When someone wants the best & is able to pay for it, every component can be high-end, top quality. I appreciate it when the price is disclosed up front; I think it's important to calibrate expectations on a build like this. Thanks for sharing it.

looks like a 70's-80's vibe van

5K inverter so he can use a microwave and the induction stove simultaneously. Only works for a bit with a 3K inverter. Considering how long a microwave is typically used for it could be considered overkill.

Maybe someone is drying their hair while someone is cooking on induction and making coffee all at the same time. I suppose we can argue we don’t need to do all those things at once but it’s meant to more “home” feeling while on the road

@@jordanhanson316 The Rixens System even with heated floors,would not be a significant draw. The heat/energy comes from the gas/diesel vehicle tank. The electrical draw on the 12volt hydronic pump is insignificant compared to AC, induction stove/ and Microwave.

I un-subbed long ago so I don't follow too closely. I thought the channel name had changed. It appears MANY You Tubers are making major changes.. I gave up on MANY You Tube Channels after I got tired of watching all of them "pimping" the same products, and almost all of them going off in directions other than what they originally had done...

not a great idea to put the inverter so far from the battery bank... especially if he's running a 12v system, which requires much thicker wires. I'd love to see more builders embrace 24v or even 48v systems

@@jordanhanson316 many of the most power-hungry accessories are available in multiple voltages, and step-down conversion doesn’t waste much energy for those that don’t

so it's for 3 person but if one does a #1 or 2 everyone needs to get out and sit under the rain??? it seems like outfitters like compost toilet and no gas, all electric just because it's easier to install. but the price doesn't reflect lol

I don't understand how any of these vans are 300k+ where exactly does 240k go?? you can build an entire house for that. Including the exterior upgrades there's maybe 60k worth of parts and material + 60 for the van, so you're telling me the labor / profit is 180k?

I see people’s point of view here but when I add up all parts and materials I see easily over 100k. The van itself is 70k depending how new/old it is. Then real builders have overhead like shop rental, business insurance, employment, etc. not to mention likely 20-40k of tools and most use cnc machines which are 70k+. Are there some taking advantage of the van market and putting less expensive parts into builds and making them look pretty? Absolutely! I try and point those out on this channel but what people see is what they see 🤷🏻‍♂️

Regardless of the build quality, the design choices are kind of sad for something originally priced at 325k, starting with those cabinets with two, three colors wood and details… sorry

Truly depends on your style and budget. My two friends in the area are Nirvana Upfitters and Exploration Vans. Haven’t met them but I hear Live a Little Vans are good too

This space doesn't embody any of the characteristics of a luxury interior. I think for that price anywhere else in the world people would want something very special.

$300K for a Low-Tech 1970's-1980's Ford Econoline Camper in a 2021 Mercedes Benz body is absolutely asylum patient material.

Did he say 300k for the van!!?? NO WAY. I'd rather buy bigger and better van like an Airstream Atlas or a Leisure Unity van!

Deccent build but the colors and a few things including price are a deal breaker for me. I see better vans at half this price.

Ryan upfitted my 170, ext, xd, 4x4, and let me tell you, compared to this spec van, I got a smokin' good deal. And yeah, carpentry skills are next level.

ive seen vans twice as good as this one for $200k

Actually no. There are no other vans out there like Atlas. It’s hard to appreciate the attention to detail unless you see it in person.

I’ve learned to not argue with others and let them vent 😂 because if people could see the vans at show, in person and know the systems/products used in a true 300k built van, then wouldn’t think these things. Oh well, and don’t even get me started on the “builders” charging 300k that are pricing it high for aesthetics only. To each their own I suppose. They don’t know until they know 🤷🏻‍♂️

The fit and finish isn't good. I'm not going to give examples. Not worth $300,000. And not worth $200,000.

If it was only cabinets then it would be much less. Once someone looks into the price of components cost then you’d understand more

The "SKITTLES" Van !!! WAY too many different colors and Textures for my taste.. JMO $300K ? PASS.
