Great tour Jarrod. I have a variation of this layout in my 2023 Transit built by Van Haus. They do a few things different but it's essentially the same layout. I think it's one of the best layouts for a non extended body and lives much larger than it's size. Now that you're back in Portland let me know if you would ever like to see it. I remember this guys earlier work. He has excellent attention to detail...but like most artists, they arent great business men...so its good to see him work as a team. I love Sandy Vans build, and external accessories equally as much. Anyone whos lived in a van knows you soon outgrow that space and need room for all your tools and equipment. Rear door toolboxes and accessory racks are a godsend. As are roof trays with attachment points. Great Job!

Beautiful build, but I would not cover up the fan because in the winter it’s going to be difficult to insulate and cover the fan.

See your point. However I’ve lived and traveled in 3 separate vans and never once insulated the fan section. I’ve also camped in areas below freezing plenty of times

That is, hands down, the most beautiful ceiling. Much respect.

It indicates that the Class B custom 200k plus adventure market segment has caught the attention of the big boys on Wall Street and they want a piece of the action and it might indicate also that the market is also saturated. I have notice that wherever a high income city is there is a custom van place catering to wealth adventure van want-a-bees. Also the third party manufactures like Owl and Lost Highway have made it easier for builders to up their game by making them faster....just sayin

I would love to see Ford Transit van conversions as I like them more than Sprinters

The transits are the hardest van to build in which is most likely why a lot stay away from building them. Obviously can be done but once building in one you’ll see. I agree with you and wish I saw more too

LOVE the drop down ceiling that hides the maxxfan. Never seen that before.

I pulled him off the shop floor to do this tour and he went right back to work once we were done. Those are his safety glasses which I likely forgot to take off. He also loves his vipers lol

Hate the kitchen. sharp corners, and crappy handles from 1990s furniture. ceiling is S grade. everything else is mediocre.
