This cop is 100% correct. When I was a teen I went down a similar path but I never got to the point of carrying a gun. It’s a lifestyle that’s easy to fall into. In the pursuit of trying to be cool and tough, young people are led to believe they have to commit crime. I am thankful that i stopped that type of lifestyle before I hit 20

If you truly care about society, don't let your sadness turn into anger. Letting them out isn't the problem. The fact we call jails correction facilities is laughable. You might as we'll tell someone go to your room when they commit a crime. No kind of rehab necessary. Then after making you sit in your room, they release you with even less ability to function than before. I have had spent my time interacting with the law. Since, I have tried to better myself. My interactions with the law have crippled my life. I have earned a bachelors degree and in six months I'll have my masters. I have fines and a record. Because of this I've lost countless opportunities for advancement and employment. Jail did nothing for me and only serves as a weight stopping me from being a productive member of society. Jail seems only to be meant to be a weight on one's shoulders that you have to carry for the rest of you life.

It is not an answer to our problems in the slightest unless nobody ever gets out.... we can't just separate criminals from society, and not each other, or else we will (and now do) have a culture of criminals with an "us vs. Them" mentality...so they unite and form gangs and criminal organizations. No benefits in sight for anyone involved... We absolutely need change.

The guy is still in his 20s, which means he has 50 more years on average. That will actually mean that he will cost the state over 2million , unless they throw him into general population, give him the right cell mate, or just put him in solitary with nothing but his orange and a 10 foot piece of rope. Many of the dirtbags that are causing violence in NJ are the same people who should be prosecuting it as well. I got pulled over for what i assumed were my expired tags outside phili in NJ on a trip to NYC and the cop came up, opened my door, drug me out of the car, and damn near broke my arm while telling me to stop resisting, while he had his knee on my head and face on the asphalt... After about 2 hours in the back of his car, they finally figured out I was not the person they were looking for. not so much as an "I'm sorry for that" but instead when I asked to file a complaint about the original officers actions I was threatened with arrest for "resisting" yet the entire thing was unlawful. They gave me a ticket for the expired plate sticker after all was said and done as well. Apparently someone matching my description (a white male) driving a similar car to mine (a black sedan) had earlier drove off from a bicycle officer after being told to stop. To be honest I was thankful to escape with my freedom and my life that day... I also realized police need to earn our trust and respect; and there are not very many like Grady Judd; but he makes me want to move to florida. By the way, my dash cam is what acquitted me that day; without it I might have gone to jail and been prosecuted for something I didn't do.

Do you follow all the court cases? Are you a lawyer or work in the court? Or do you just follow them independently? You should post these cases that aren’t getting processed to highlight what’s happening. That’s how the prosecutors get in trouble. Remember the case with Ahmaud Arbery. The prosecution would not charge them. She worked with one of them. The video ended her career.

Enough of these blurred lines. Once one becomes an adult. All the kid stuff is over. Now for an adult punishment.
