I’ve been a garage door installer/technician for over 20 years and I’ve been in hundreds of cookie cutter garages frames exactly like this. It’s strong. It’s efficient. And yes you could frame it 16 O.C. On the roof and rafters but there really is no need. This is a badass garage and plenty strong!! Doing this all one man shows you are skilled and have a great routine down! 👏🏼

Yup, I think it’s a perfectly acceptable way to frame an accessory building👍
I'm in the industry . Done a ton of framing , mostly doing commercial / industrial concrete now . I have done a lot of tasks alone simply because my laborer didn't show up but to plan on always doing everything by yourself is commendable.

little pink hammer? I think that's the answer you're looking for! Great video, great work.
I've been in the trades as a carpenter for a long time ,and still going. Your workmanship and pride will keep you busy for a long time. It's a pleasure to see a craftsman doing a good job. I know you've called your hammer a "pink hammer" but I still prefer a Estwing straight claw. This saved my butt a couple times from sliding off a roof. Keep setting the good examples .
@markstanton2362

If you use an Estwing you must be from the midwest or northeast. On the west coast nothin but Dalluge wood-handled hammers.
