Nice plane journey it was.Right time takeoff start from 17:55 mins.

Aloha, ladies! Man, I'm in love with Hawaiian's logo! And this A321 has the interior to compliment a lady like her! Maybe a bit overcast in San Diego, but the sunshine in Hawaii was worth it all! Also, it looks like the cuisine was very appetizing. The sandwich, oatmeal bar, cookies and a fruity drink! Did they heat up the sandwich? One last thing....I noticed some people noticed you and your camera. In your travels, do a lot of people get testy over that, or do most just let it go? All in all, an extremely enjoyable flight from start to finish!

Thanks for watching my friend! The sandwich was heated up, and was decent for airline food! Also, I try not to get other people in my footage, but sometimes that's not possible. Sometimes people do notice, but I've never had anyone say anything or get upset by it. Plus, on a flight like this, going to Hawaii, most people are in a pretty good mood. It's the flight coming back I'd be more worried about.

I can say the only thing wrong the whole flight cloudy. I've seen alot of clouds but these were the smoothest ever, but still excellent job.

I’ve never had a flight from the West Coast to Hawaii that wasn’t filled with clouds. I’d be interested to take a flight where it was clear and you could see the ocean most of the time.

I lived in Hawaii for 10 years and flew many times, but this video is almost making my palms sweat @51:51 Going to take a flight out of Seattle to HNL probably next year for a visit.

It really wasn't that bad. Just your typical Pacific turbulence. I've been on flights to and from Hawaii were the entire flight was as choppy as that. Thanks for watching my friend!

Int CFM 56 turbofans I believe

Love the plane but didn't find seats as comfortable as a330. Bummed they will no longer be using a330 to Honolulu. Going in October for first visit!

I just flew to Honolulu last month on an A330.

Curious, is there an entertainment system mounted on the back of the seat ?? I don't see one.

There is not. Most of the airlines are moving away from in seat entertainment systems. What the airlines are doing now is allowing people to connect to the wifi for free if they use the airlines app. Then you can watch all of the movies and stuff on your own device. Everyone has a smartphone or iPad now, so the airlines are thinking.... Why spend the money on fuel to carry around 200 screens when everyone brings their own. So, you can still watch movies and stuff for free on most airlines, but you're going to need your own device. Thanks for watching my friend!

I should mention though, that Hawaiian is the only US airline where the entertainment isn't free. Even on your own device you have to pay, I think, $7.99 for a movie, and like $9.99 for a TV pack. It's pretty bad when all the other airlines offer it all for free now.

OGG is the main airport on the island of Maui.

I am so surprised that British airlines are not WiFi in-flight entertainment systems! But then if they had then they would charge stupid amount of money!

Hawaiian does that. Hawaiian is the only US airline left that still charges for the use of their entertainment system. It's a rip off. American, Delta, United, Southwest, etc. all allow you to use it and watch for free. Thanks for watching my friend!

You can still find them on some routes. Unfortunately, not out of SAN to OGG though. LAX still has the A330 to OGG, and so does SFO I think. I could be wrong. I'm doing this from memory. Thanks for watching my friend!

Yes. As engines are starting, it is very common for them to have some smoke produced.

Didn't like economy seats very much on a321. A330 better
