Catlin catches the ball with 3 sec left inbound so smart and run away with clock to win the game . She did not allow SC to foul and steal the ball inbound . What a critical awesome play

She's the chosen one. The Michael Jordan of women's basketball.. ABSOLUTLY Amazing! She is box office. She will level the pay scale between men and women basketball or at minimum close the huge gap.

I honestly didn't realize how tall South Carolina players were it seems like they had a mismatch on every level but Iowa's game plan and execution must have been on point. Caitlyn Clark can definitely ball with that 41 point performance

CC is 6 feet tall. Monika Cizanano is ‘6”3 Addison O’Grady is ‘6”4 McKenna Warnock is ‘6”1 these Hawkeye girls are taller than most men.

@@Yyyyyy5 Cardoso is 6'7, Boston is 6'5. 1 is 6'4 and 2 are 6'3, and 2 are 6'2. The hawkeyes only have 5 women over 6'1 and none over 6'4. Thats a size mismatch.

@@Kingofsouthlake it’s not enough to make a difference. A mismatch that would make a difference would be a ‘6”5 person matching up to a ‘5”9 person. I mean obviously there is a difference there but in this case you have nothing more than a bunch of tall women on a basketball court.

That was the first time I watched highlights of a woman’s basketball game and I’m a huge nba guy. That said, i felt like I was watching a 1960’s nba game and Clark was like watching pistol Pete or Havlicek. She’s definitely something special I was impressed. WNBA needs a face for the league

A lot of comments here comparing Caitlin with Pistol Pete. I just watched a video on Maravich and I saw footage of a lot of opportunities for Pete to pass off for what would have been an easier 2 points, but he took it all the way for the score. Caitlin's assist average is 50% more than Pete's, her shooting is better, and her FT percentage is far better. For all Maravich's incredible skills, shooting free throws was not one of them. Caitlin is more of a team player and I think she could score much more than she does, but she looks for her other players more than Pete did. She also probably has a better coach than Pete had.His dad focused on promoting his son over all else. Pete was an awesome ball handler and shooter, can't take that away from him, but he probably would have won at least one championship if he had been more of a team player. In college he averaged 44 points a game, but only 5 assists, and he averaged taking 40 shots and 14 free throws per game! His LSU teams went 49-35 during his time there. That pretty much says it all.
