altough amateur and pro are not the same thing, Bivol has a amateur record of 90-11-0 ,123 fights combined, so you could say he's the more experience boxer overall.

It's always been irritating to me how hard people clowned on Zurdo for this performance. Yeah he got much the same schooling everyone else does, but at least he was the first guy ever to try to reply during his combinations and attempt to actually win an exchange - he even won one. Also, when is the last time you saw Bivol duck under a punch, apart from once in this fight? Never that's when, because that's like layer 17 of his defence. Zurdo tried his ass off, but he found the same problem everyone else does. The more ambitious you are, and the harder you try against Bivol, the worse you get lit up- so everybody drops their volume and secretly surrenders at some point. Beterbiev is a whole different beast though...I don't know who wins that one.

Yeah - I am afraid for Bivol fighting Bieterbiev too. He has big kahunas and he is so willing. I'll back Bivol just because I have my favourites and that's that. LOL. So much respect for Bieterbiev though too. What a machine. I just prefer those that look to be technically beautiful fighters. But a fight is a fight. So if good old Bieterbiev wins - he will totally deserve it.

Just for information / reminder, after this fight Gilberto Ramirez became world champion in the cruiser weight division. That says a lot about Bivol's skills.

Bivo is a brave and defensive boxer.

Bivol stuck to the fundamentals of boxing. Most fighters drop there hands during exchanges. After you throw a punch it has to come back to guard your head.

They finally upload the full fight and I have to say I forgot how sharp Bivol was in this fight

When the much bigger fighter is getting pushed back, you know who's going to win.

Gilberto was scared he never should n never been in there. He wasn’t ready to fight. I hate to see Mexican fighters like this. They fight their heart to get to the top and then get to the top and then get scared.

In round nine, watch the fake pulled punches when Ramirez has Bivol on the ropes. Bivol had nothing to do with the fix. All Golden Boy.

Because it would have been an irrecoverable hit to Canelo’s brand to lose to the same guy twice. He already took a big hit losing the first time. Lest we forget, going into the Bivol fight, the mainstream thinking was that Canelo is invincible. Bivol was supposed to be a minor bump in the road for Canelo. People were talking about Canelo fighting Usyk. All that came crashing down in May of 2022.
