I agree with Adrienne. Don’t tell your kids you can’t do this or that, but encourage them to have a plan b. It sounds good what all the other ladies are saying but loni know that her career as a comedian isn’t the only thing that paying her bills hints why she is on the show. I do think a plan b is necessary bc god forbid you need something to fall back on you have a degree or whatever it is that your plan b is. Adrienne is the only one being realistic not everyone makes it. Plus there are people that it took years for them to get to where they are now. It’s a lot of popular actors in the business that said they was homeless for years while trying to peruse their dreams but if those people had a plan b they could’ve done their plan b while pursuing their plan A. Having a plan b doesn’t mean you have to give up on your plan A you just not trying to struggle out here in there streets.

I thought I was the only one that hears her loud and clear! It's funny how the real had 2 amazing singers with adrienne and tamar and they never had them sing the theme song

Quick background: I’ve been an elementary school teacher for 10 years (Pre-k through 3rd grade). I always do “All About Me” projects on the first day of school. From 2014-2017 it was always doctor, veterinarian, marine biologist, teacher, firefighter and police officer were some of the top careers the kids chose. Cut to 2023… the top careers are KZreadr, instagramer, influencer, beauty guru, fashion model with maybe 1 or 2 kids saying they want to be a teacher or a doctor. I’m going to leave this here and interpret this how you will.

In my honest opinion i believe that parents should always be honest with their children...i mean if they come to you and say mommy/daddy i want to be spiderman or wonder woman...you should tell them that they're pretend and that they should be someone a little more realistic like someone with a college degree and actual job skills

Society rewards being a celebrity but we want kids to be the sensible ones to pretend to be in careers that are "more achievable"? None of that makes sense 😂 Let that kid dress as whatever they want. The day society stops rewarding influencers is the day these kids won't want to be it anymore. I'm from the south asian culture and we all aspire to be doctors, lawyers or engineers over celebrities or anything else, and we work hard to be those things. It's really societies fault for praising certain careers, kids just want to be whatever is aspirational in their circle
