Ive been waiting for this new episode.. whos with me enjoying this new episode while on a quaratine...

This show and the deadliest catch, take you off into a different world. I have saltwater fished for over 30 years, and worked on a overnight tuna boat off of San Diego. Im older now, but still think of those days!

Crazy!!

Chomps and Skip could really use A LOT of lessons from Linda and Scotty on how to treat your employees. Peat and repeat is exactly why I fast-forward through their parts. Believe it or not, you tell somebody something once and they hear you, LOUD AND CLEAR!!

Scotty's professionalism while dealing with his crews mistake in the moment was leagues above the other captains.

I dislike the capt of the francis ann more and more with each episode.He hates his life and he takes it out on his hard working crew. I can't believe he hasn't got his ass handed to him yet. Just a miserable human.

I don't agree. His crew deserved the ass-reaming he gave them. They lost that bluefin 'cos they were acting like a bunch of greenhorns! They FINALLY get a good paying fish on the line and they fumbled it. I don't agree w/ captain who yell at their crew for no good reason or for when they just wanna posture and act badass like Chompers does, but when the crew acts like a bunch of airheads and don't do their jobs, they deserve to be chewed out.

@@JessieCristo I know a fishing life isn't easy and control has to be maintained. I just don't like when the crew makes a mistake he starts with the name calling and telling them how stupid they are. It only proves he lacks the intelligence to respond respectively. does your boss deal like that?

@@sumbuddy63 No, my boss doesn't talk to me like that. But I work in an office not a high-stress job where lives and livelihoods are at stake if I lose a file or botch a sales call. I understand why his way of dealing w/ the crew seems wrong to you, but I just feel that in some situations, it's not only unavoidable but can be necessary.

I concur with you my friend. The reason he lost that swordfish I say the captain lost that swordfish because he is too worried about what the deckhands were doing and not driving the vessel. If he paid attention to what he was doing and keeping control of the fish with the vessel instead of running back and yelling at his crew that fish would have been in the fish hold. By the way, Slick is a very large man, very large. But then again there's always someone bigger and badder out there and I'm sure someone has handed him his ass before. When he was talking about 10 years ago losing a fish that still bothered him that's probably when he had his ass handed to him LOL. That's why he remembers it so well LOL.

Every Captain has lots of pressure even more thanthe crewthey have pressure on finding fish driving the boat making sure the crew listen they have a lot on their plate specially if they are sailing some one else's boat so yeah i get why the Captain lose their shit when they lose a fish we just see the show but i bet none of ylou have what it takes to deal with this Captain scotty is always calm cause he knows his the top dog of the whole fleet so he doesn't worry as much as the other ones

@Jack Hole when I say "luck" I mean problems faced by linda, if you see all three seasons she had faced problems in all three seasons which no other captain faced.

I sure hope most captains arent complete a holes like a few that are depicted here. I have worked in industry with some bosses like thks but they have such a hard time retaining crews that they are useless in my estimation. You can always find another job where you are treated like a human.

Yeah like you know any better. She's only 3 years into a career she hadn't done for 20 years before that. It's almost like she's a rookie captain and she has to re-learn the fishing grounds again.

*10 years Seahawk was a heap and thats why she bailed on that one. Bjorn wasnt built for the Grand Bank And, if given the opportunity to take your old boat fishing that you kicked ass with, you go for it

Darryll is definitely the weak link on Scottys boat. After his F-ups the last season, I wouldn't trust him with the beepers

hey peoples this show is done finito 10 years ago, and this is not a reality show like the other shows its all scripts they trained the peoples on this shows who would spend 8-12 weeks in the sea for $10000 or up to $ 25000 max, plus hurricane igor hit that area back in september 2010
