A pretty good kit, I built it a few months back, as a regular street car, in gloss red. Had no trouble with it, and it looks good sitting next to my Mustang Coupe in French Blue. 😎👍

Louie!! That was a very nice road racer build!! I like the way you did your own version 👍🏁 That is a LOT of parts in that new tooling kit!!! I have the original 66 fastback with no box and it needs a restoration, but I'd like to get this kit as well. Thank you for this video, I always enjoy your channel!

I built kits for years, long ago. In fact, they are still sitting on shelves in my old home place, completely intact. I've never ever sanded chrome parts before applying glue (I used Testors glue in tubes), and they have never come apart in over 50 years. I don't know where this "gotta sand parts' thing is coming from, but I'd say it isn't necessary, unless there is distortion in the mating surface to begin with. That has nothing to do with the chrome, but an uneven surface gap in the plastic part could weaken bonding, I suppose. But that hasn't happened on my builds. I've been subscribed to your channel for awhile now, enjoying your presentations. Just felt I had to say something about the chrome, because it has been coming up on other channels, too.

I positively *LOVE* your colour choices, Louie ! I'm keen on blues, especially medium blues, and more so metallic . It's interesting that *Round2* included branded slicks in this offering -- those same *M&H* *Racemasters* are in the 1968 Coronet R/T Convertible, but with blank sidewalls (??). Keep up the great work ! I thoroughly enjoy watching you review and build kits .

Mine will be built with the vastly more accurate 67 Mustang chassis as I'm doing to my 66 coupe. An interesting side note is that Ford for 65 and 66 called this body "2+2". 67 and 68s were called "Fastback" and 69/70 were called "Sport Roof". Most everybody else called all of them fastbacks. But I will be buying one of these. I really like the road race build. I grew up involved in SCCA road racing. Nice build. Beautiful blue color. Thanks for sharing the Duplicolor number for it. Very nicely done.
