Hello and Welcome!👋 I'm the Autistic Modeler,
I've been building Model Cars since I was a child. I didn't get my Autism diagnosis, until I was 39. I have always been into Cars. I worked with Cars, selling Parts for over 25 years. Now I am working with Diesel Generators selling Parts.
I'm in a local Model Car Club, with fellow KZread Modelers, The Luka Cee Channel, BG's Model Workshop, Chucks Hobby Spot and Scale Model Experiment. I am also friends with, Mark Batson Hobbydude 007, and a few others who have their own KZread Channel as well.
Several people said I should start my own channel, so here I am. I want to share my talent with you and raise Autism Awareness & Acceptance. If you enjoy my videos, please 👆 LIKE, SUBSCRIBE & SHARE 🔔 Thank you!
- Happy Modeling! 🫵
Special Thanks to the Team @Round2foryou Your support is greatly appreciated.

Nice job and preview. I believe this is a reissued kit. Thanks for sharing. Happy 4th of July!🎉🎉
Glad to see you, Louie! The 60 Apache turned out great! Love the scallops and paint.👍
I believe 1959 was the last year for the straight front axle, and by 1960 Chevy pickups started the infamous torsion bar front suspensions as correctly represented in the kit. A few years later that suspension was replaced by the more conventional coil spring style. great videos as usual, and keep up the great work.🙂
Awesome build, nice job 👍.
This came out great Louie!! But I did spy those 2 primer Fords behind you, lol. Looking forward to those!
Oh, those are 1972 Dodge Polaras They were 3D printed by a good friend of mine.
great video! totally agree on the box art too !!
Early 60s Chevy had Torsion Bar Front End
Thank you!! I didn’t know that.
Great color choices Louie, well done 👍
Nice work Louie, that looks amazing and excellent colour choice too. Well done 👍🏼
That's a real cool kit Louie! I can't wait to get my hands on one! Yours turned out awesome! I love the scallops! 😎👍
Great to have you back buddy! awesome build and cool choice in colours ✌Canada✌
Nice build Louie. The custom parts are cool.
Absolutely beautiful build my friend, very nice, you should be happy with that one ❤ Cheers 🍻🍻 KC 🇦🇺🇦🇺🤝🦘🦘🏔🏔🌧🌧
Thank you!!! 😊
@@TheAutisticModeler your welcome 🙏 🤗
Awesome paint job and super clean build!!! Love it!!!
Nicely done Louie Looks great!!!
HEY-DAR 👊😎👍 Geno Here: Nice Build, Good Job 😉 It looks to be a kit worth getting 🤔 Be Watching You Later, (MODEL CAR)🎭(MAN CAVE)
Excellent job Louie. Can't go wrong with a bright orange pickup 👍👍
Looking REALLY good Louie! The interior fit and the front suspension issues good to know about, for us considering buying this kit. Great color choices too btw. ✌🏽😎👍🏾
Well done. Customs aren't really my thing, but this went together just the way you wanted it to. (AMT disappoints me when they issue kits that cannot be built as factory stock. The kit should always have those factory parts.)
They did issue this stock a little while back, it came with a go kart. I’m sure it’s still easily available. Look on the Autoworld site.
@@TheAutisticModeler that site is too high priced, even if the kit were still available there. Plus, you then have to pay shipping, and risk damage in transit. I've stopped even looking at Autoworld. AMT is not supplying that stock kit now, it has disappeared at Hobby Lobby long ago, has lost its bin on their model shelf completely, in preparation for the release of this new custom kit, no doubt. I think I also saw the last of AMT's old inventory of the stock kit liquidated at Ollie's during the late winter time frame. It's definitely not available at hobby shops anywhere around here. I still say, AMT should never release a custom version kit without including all the factory stock parts in it.
AMT should offer the basic truck or car kit at a reasonable price. Then offer stock or custom parts separately at a reasonable price. This would allow model builders more options and not be stuck with parts they may not use. Just my thoughts.🤔
@@johnclemans7802 that would end up costing model kit consumers way more, with all that additional manufacturing and supply-chain complexity. How would you forecast how many want the custom or the stock parts, when the factory is producing 1000 kits or whatever # run cycle they typically make? They can't be interrupting their future production schedule, constantly switching from one model back to another set of special parts, because they miss the demand for things. Including both stock and custom parts in one package is the most price efficient way to market kits, and leaves no one disappointed that they cannot build the kit as wanted. lol, extra parts leftover is easily solved in my case .... they go into the trash when I finish a build. 😉
Nice looking truck. I may just have to pick me one up now😊
Glad to you posting - it’s been awhile…great job!
Thank you!! I take a little break every year around this time. I rest from my day job and build just for myself. Thank you for watching!!
Very cool.🤓👍
Welcome back Louie
Great build Louie. love the orange paint job and the white scallops accent it perfectly. I kind of like that a six cylinder was chose for the model instead of some Big'Ol V-8 that usually is chose. I've always been into six cylinders. That fuel injection system that was used didn't work very well I had it on my '57 Chevy then took it off to be replaced by 2 deuces., ran much better. I also like how you pointed out the flaw on the front end and how to make the correction.
Thanks Dad!!! Glad you liked it!!
Great looking build . I have the stock version I had no issues
You did a very nice job on this one. It looks fantastic.
Thank you!!😊
Beautifully done on your T-Bird buddy! Love that Coral color! Inspiration for mine!
0:36 I'm korean but i can't translate it because of that chinese characters.
Great job on the build looks real well done!
That is a beautiful ‘68 Cadillac! Well done!
That was a neat build of a REAL Cadillac! I grew up with those 70’s and 90’s Caddys. My next door neighbor owned a light blue and white one and I had the pleasure of riding in it! Talk about an amazing experience as a kid! 😊
Beautifully done! When I was a kid, my parents had a 1973 Lincoln Continental in a bright yellow! This Cougar reminds me of it!
Very nicely done! I did mine the same as the Gulf service truck! Absolutely fun build!
HEY-DAR 👊😎👍 You Are ONE of The Few Respected Model Builders that I was looking forward to getting a Shop-Card from 🤗 But For Some reason after Asking MANY Times, leaving my ADD. And even getting a Reply Back on some 🤔 After 6 Months or so asking I say "Screw It" I'm done Kissing AZZ 💋 for a Shop-Card ☺️ I have 27 now and I guess I'm done asking 😊 (MODEL CAR)🎭(MAN CAVE)
Nice! Work! Compadre!!
Great build Louie. This car reminds me of my uncle who raced alcohol funny Mustangs in the mid 70's and 80's. On school breaks I worked with the pit crew doing very minor jobs to keep the car in top form. Great memories, I need to get a copy of this model to build using pictures of his Mustang.
Bang up job man! Love that color!
I've never built a police car. Looks great. I would have to create custom decals to put the name of the town I live in on the car.
Nice and clean build of the Caddy, like a lot.thanks
It can only be built stock. Booooo.
I have one I’m about to start on. Can I ask how you lowered it?
There are three different holes in the knuckles to change ride height. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the information.
As I started building mine, I also noticed that even though it says it’s a V8 one of the motors only has six exhaust instead of eight exhaust. Three on each side.
Another great build. Love the color,
I drive my 79 sedan deville every day with Hanks 8 track blaring. thanks for build

Un bon travail mais les cuirs doivent <<<<<<<ètre mat !! Congrest ...
I want one 😊
Does anybody remember the ol' little Crashmobile toy car? The fenders and roof would fly off when the bumper hit an immovable object. The front bumper on that reminded me decades later of the "slapped on" 5mph bumpers that Detroit was too lazy or cheap to re-design for. This car is a typical example. You can tell the designer did NOT mean for it to have a f'in guard rail pasted on the front. So, I think it would be fun to undo the law and set those bumpers into the body and re-imagine what the original design was supposed to be. Not just this car but the 70s GMs too. Nice job, Bub even if it's a Ford car, lol 👀
