Probably one of the best performances from Nick Best! 👏🏼 Too bad for Benzel though. He was doing good.

My God the stone off was horse shit. "Last man standing" never had to lift as much as the guy before. I do love the event, but ONLY if the newer guy has to beat the number of lifts of the guy who was already there. WSM has such a shady past with events.

Yeah I don't think the guy who was second overall ever lost the stone off? I kinda get it, if you're second you're effectively doing one event, whereas the people who placed lower still have a chance to advance to the final *if* they can do tjr equivalent of a whole extra event, but it definitely doesn't seem necessary or fair. Probably why they stopped doing it this way. On the other hand trying to imagine this being done today. . . Tom Stoltman would just sit through the first five events, take the 0, then win the stone off by going throughout everyone else.

IT'S AMAZING JUST HOW STRONG BIG Z WAS LOL A CLEARLY NOT 100 PERCENT BIG Z AND HE STILL MADE THE FINAL BUT HONESTLY I THINK BIG Z HANGED AROUND TOO LONG AND HE WAS JUST A SHELL OF HIMSELF IN THE FINAL 2 YEARS Z WAS AT WORLDS.
