Thank you for the video. Can you tell me if firmware updates have improved the autofocus please?

As far as I'm concerned the autofocus hasnt been improved lately. They only fix bugs occasionally. They've updated the AF on the XT3 once go be on par with the XT4, but I've heard they can't update the XT4 to be on par with the XT5, as the processor in the XT4 isnt fast enough. What are you planning on shooting with the XT4?

@@lukasbenjamin_ I intend it for general photography. I bit of everything. I've had an X-T4 before now but fancied a change. For really serious stuff I use a Nikon D3S and a 150 - 600 Tamron (G2). That's for sports (Rugby) wildlife, aviation etc. I also have a D850 which I intend to trade in because I think it is overkill and it doesn't really inspire me as good as it is. I'd like to do a bit of all of the above with the T4 as well as portrait, landscape etc.. Like I say. General photography.

@@philipfoster7269 for general photography the XT4 is more than enough, the Portrait autofocus could be a bit annoying, if there's a lot of light changes as in shadow, other than that I've never had any problems with the AF. I even photographed F1 with it once and it worked just fine. Though I wouldn't recommend it for sports generally.

I am also an X-T4 shooter now dude 👍. Only have the 70-300 for now cause surf/skateboard/wildlife photography/video is the main priority, but the results have been stunning thus far. Can't wait to get the Fuji 33 1.4, Tamron 17-70 (and maybe the Viltrox 13 for astro and aurora when the time comes). Definitely step by step of course cause it's not cheap;). Keep the vids coming Lucas🤘

Hey man, it's a great camera and I love the Fuji X ecosystem. The third-party lenses are awesome, only heard good stuff about the 17-70mm, as well as the 13 mm! Are you also thinking about getting a smaller prime lens for street photography? Thanks btw, will keep em coming 🙏

@@lukasbenjamin_ yep the X-T4 is a beast of a hybrid camera. It's a major upgrade from my Canon M50 MK ii (even though I really appreciate what that camera did for me in my journey for photography and KZread). To be honest, the Fuji 33 along with the Tamron will probably be the Travel photography lens I'll use as well as portraits cause I also enjoy doing that and the Sigma 30 did a great job with the Canon. However, I need to work on my Street photography cause I'm aware of the fact that not everybody likes to have their photograph taken randomly. What is your overall approach to that genre of photography? I also do a lot of landscape, but Street is a different animal and definitely my Achilles Heel at the moment.

@@nomadictimbo9185 tbh i don't do a lot of portraits in street photography, it's more like nice compositions with people just adding to the scene. I'm mostly into the landscape and woodland genre though. So for me street photography is usually only a topic when traveling. :-)
