What do you think of the FUJIFILM GFX100 II?

I tested the camera a few days ago, and Fuji still has not fixed the focus hunting issue with the 45mm lens. ;(

I think I'd like to have seen a test shoot that was well lit.

I have this camera. The 5.8K cine mode is awesome. Rolling shutter is not great, so you have to be mindful of that when shooting. The 4.8K anamorphic mode is better for rolling shutter. It can be used as any mirrorless in this mode. What you missed is the single best feature of this camera… the amazing EVF. With the tilt adapter installed, the EVF elevates this camera to one of the best shooting experiences of any camera I’ve shot with. It’s next level. We can only hope that Fujifilm will create a cinema version, with faster rolling shutter, built in eVND and support for this wonderful EVF.

Thanks for all the insights to the video functionality... but boy are the scenes terribly lit.

How is it different shooting with full frame anamorphic lens on the gfx100 II than any other full frame camera, as you cannot leverage the entire sensor area unless the lens itself is a medium format anamorphic lens?

I think it is very important that BH uploads this type of content for potential buyers of the products. I hope I don't offend anyone, but in this case, which lacked a lot of love for the piece they made, the information was good but the result does not highlight the potential of the camera. The location, the lighting, the skin tones, the contrast between shots, everything could have been done much better. Honestly after watching the video I am a little further away from buying this camera than before.

I have to agree. I was surprised, for me this doesn’t really showcase what the camera can do or make me want to buy it, whereas the Fujifilm sponsored short in Istanbul is excellent.

I’m in love with this camera and im going to buy it, but it’s not “as medium format as it gets” because it’s not even close to a 0.5x crop like something like 6x7cm film or even a hassleblad 500 series I think “more than full frame” is the more truthful statement

That dude can sing and play that instrument at the same time...really well 😃

What resolutions and sensor sizes are available when shooting in braw? Thanks!

For internal recording, these are the specs: 8192 x 4320 at 23.98/24.00 fps [50 to 720 Mb/s] For Internal recording: 7680 x 4320 at 23.98/24.00/25/29.97 fps

The FUJIFILM GFX 100II features two different high resolution 35mm anamorphic recording modes that provide various de-squeeze monitoring options in-camera. This feature is available only in Movie Mode. >Mark

Studio lighting and setup was so much better than on location with the musician is mho. Very sterile.

I had been really wanting this camera, and I was ready to put it on the credit card at the end of the week until I saw this video. Thanks for helping me change my mind B&H, the lighting on this one was terrible!

@@romanoooI was hoping to use this camera for photo and video, but the video capabilities did not look good at all. A large part of it was just the terrible lighting setup in this video, but if a photo company does not care about lighting for a camera review, then why should I care about the camera. I ended up buying a GFX 100S instead from another website 👍🏼 love it

so good quality and so bad lighting setup here 😮 you dont know hot to use lights guys

The sensor is native 4:3. All other shooting modes would be cropped. >Mark
