Thanks Mi-Ammy and yes, given it has no mirror like a DSLR it can take quite the beating. Its quite the little workhorse.

Wow! I’m blown away for how amazing this camera is. Those pictures look amazing the image quality the colours the vibrancy is very high quality. It’s excellent both underwater and outside the water. I wasn’t expecting it to be this good. It’s also a budget friendly for what it is I’d rather investigate in this and use it for a long years like I did with my last camera which was Nikon Coolpix S33. I think it’s time for an upgrade and I’m in for a treat. Definitely sold. This camera looks very exiting to go diving and photographing. Thanks for this tutorial/ informative video. 🙂

I have the XP90 and I didn’t realize it was so expensive. My parents got it for me before I went on my 3 week canoe trip to the James Bay and my 5 week Leadership Trip. Now my brother’s bringing it on his.

@@tiffanywallace4346 Yes, I like it Tiffany. Especially given the price point. I dont think you can go wrong. While I'd certainly prefer to have an underwater rig for my Nikon D610 that would cost in excess of $1.5 - 2K so for the money you cant be it. I'm happy with the results.

Its only £45 ($55) from Currys. Definitely worth it if your in the UK.

Not watched your full review yet. Will later but a question. Can I share images direct to my phone. We do a lot of wet weather hiking when away in our campervan and want to transfer images easily and quickly when back at the van after a hike. Thanks

how is it compared to the fujifilm xp-80?

@@pjursa4113 I wonder if I might ask you your opinion , I live in Guatemala and I am planning a diving (shallow diving + snorkeling ) trip to Nicaragua. and Guatemala does not get the latest products so we only have the XP120 , would you recommend it also ? I understand you reviewed the XP140 but I would value your best guess .

@@robertlackey7212 so about the delay. I myself have never used the XP120 but a friend of mine has one and he swears by it. So from what I understand it is an excellent camera. If you doin shallow dives it will more than meet your needs. Cheers

Great video! I recently started kayaking, so I'm in the market for a waterproof camera that is not going to break my bank. I was looking into the fujifilm or the akaso v50x action camera. Mostly I will be taking pictures not videos. Do you recommend this one?. Thanks in advance!

Hi hemo1 thanks for watching. Yes I do. For a camera in the $300.00 range the image quality is excellent. This is my second Fuji camera I also own an X-100T which is a $1,600.00 camera an the image quality is comparable. You cant go wrong.

Does it have a burst mode?

Hey Mr. P First of all thanks for the video! I was thinking of getting a waterproof camera and am torn between the XP140 or the olympus TG6. The olympus is obviously better but it is almost double the price, is it worth it ? I will mostly be taking photos not videos.

I'm sure both are good camera. There's a fair amount of camera shake while I'm filming this and sometimes the underwater stuff is a bit unclear, but it couldn't be helped. The night before there was heavy rain storm so the water was a bit rough and a bit cloudy.

Fujifilm FinePix XP140 or GoPro Hero 9, which one is better for still photographs underwater ? I have no preference for 4K videography, 1080p would be fine too.

Tell you the truth I'm not certain.

my first fuji lived throw a house fire they rock just saying well worth it

great review. I love the images, but not too impressed with the video, was expecting a bit better.

Thanks Raffi, the water was a bit rough so it was hard keeping steady, I was getting thrown around a fair bit. .

How do you determine the battery life? Can't find that setting.

Sorry Aida, I've never run it dry so I cant say for certain. I always recharge it at the end of then day. I can tell you that I spend at least two - three hours in the water shooting stills and video and it was fine so the battery it comes with is pretty good.

Photos look great. The 4k 15fps is a deal breaker

Yeah there's not much you can do at 15fps.

Is this camera supports 128gb memory card? And what's the maximum size memory card xp140 supports?

Sorry about the delay istaytunned, to tell you the truth I'm not sure. I have a 64 gb card in it right now. I don't own a 128 atm.

Can it do 1080 at 60fps or only 1080 at 30fps? Can it also do 1440 and at how many fps?

bry954rr Definently not 1440. It can do 1080 at 60fps. The mic audio isn’t that good tho

Hey Sean, I actually never used it for more than two to three hours a day and recharged it every night so I'm not sure what the maximum time would be. Cheers !

The picture quality on that camera seems good. But the video can give people headaches.

Yeah you got me Darren, guilty as charged. Up until a few years ago I remained a Hasselblad guy (film). Although a have a few digital camera now, the concept is still relatively new to me so every time I buy a new digital camera it still takes me a while to figure out what the hell I'm doing. Dang do I miss film. I need to get back to the 80's
