    5 stars again, just simple but well explained at the right pace, also with the visual of screen as you talk about it.

    It would help to know which camera you're using. By default, what you see in the viewfinder represents what your final photo will look like, unless you're using a camera with an optical viewfinder, then you use what's in the big white frame.

    I'm glad that I found this video and copied most of the settings! I was just wondering if there is an option for the preview/screen to display how the photo will look like when the shutter button is held down and/or photo is taken? For instance, in a photo was shot at 1/8000 shutter speed and the preview of it shows a "bright" picture while the actual photo is dark. Is it possible for the preview (when the shutter button is held) to be dark too, or to however the actual photo will look like?

    It should always do that in P, S, and A modes, and in M if “Preview Exp/WB in Manual Mode” is set to “Exp/WB”

    @@PeltierPhotoThank you! I think I found the solution, it works if I don't set Aperture on Auto, haha.

    I needed this review. I also am perplexed by this recent phenomenon in the display (X-T4): it is now showing a larger field of view than what will end up on the photo. There is a rectangle in the middle of the display, framing the actual picture. Kind of a cool option (like to anticipate moving subjects entering the frame), but I don't know how it got there nor how to get rid of it. I would have thought this would have had to do with perhaps the three or so "framing" options in the custom display settings, but nope. Any ideas appreciated. [Edit a few minutes later:] I found it, and thought I would leave this in case it helps someone. I was in "Sports Finder Mode." I had forgotten I had done this - it was one of a dozen adjustments I had made from reading tips and watching videos. But it is not in the Custom Display Settings. Instead, it's a top-level menu item when you are in the Camera menu. Anyway, there you have it. Cheers!

    Hello, I have a Fuji film X-A10. I’m having trouble to where when I take a picture, a selfie, it inverts the final photo. But when I go to my settings, it says face detection is off. Do you have any advice on this ?

    Fuji needs the option to disable the sensor, and allowing the viewfinder toggle to be a toggle between the evf or lcd

    Hi, is there any way to get rid of the "extra information" screen shown at 3:46? I don't see that referenced anywhere in the fuji manual. Thanks

    There's a lot not referenced in the manual :) No, that's just one of the screens you have to scroll through. No option to disable it.

    Hi. It seems the Eye Sensor + LCD Image Display is doing the exact same thing as just the Eye Sensor setting. Any ideas why this is or what's supposed to be happening?

  • @PeltierPhoto

    @PeltierPhoto

    The "+LCD Image Display" part requires that you have the Image Disp. setting set to anything but Off. Then it will display your last image on the LCD. If it's off, it's behavior will be exactly like the plain Eye Sensor setting.

    I’m trying to figure out why the lcd quality is so mushy when shooting… It looks crisp on image preview?

  • @PeltierPhoto

    Not quite sure what you mean by mushy… Sometimes it’s choppy in low light or super fast action situations. You can try going into the power management sub menu and use different boost/performance settings.
