    I bought yesterday that's same exact camera in a thrift thrift store for $19.99 ! Everything per your video works ! It is a little dirty on the lens exterior and interior but that can be cleaned. The curtain is in excellent shape and I can't wait to shoot some film, it's been 25 years for me. I need a clear lens safety filter to protect the lens! Thanks for the video! 👍

    Thank you so much for a fantastic and informative video. I just bought one from the charity shop here in the UK for £10. Hoping it works! Just ordered film and batteries for it! You've taught me all I need to know as a beginner. Thank you again!

    I have a little line meter inside the view finder with a + at the top and a - at the bottom. No matter what I do to edit the aperture or the ISO the meter doesn't move up or down. The manual suggests to press the shutter release button half way but again doesn't move. I appreciate your helpful video!!! Thank you :)

    Could you explain what the ideal settings are for just taking day time photos? I’m a real beginner and would like to take some nice photos of my graduation. Thank you :)

    This depends on the situation. If it is bright and sunny outside use aperture 16 and switch the shutter to whatever the light meter suggests. If the people are moving fast use higher shutter speed and adjust aperture accordingly. Please subscribe

    What does checking the depth of field mean? Why closing the diaphragm? It's not just for exposure?

  • @forwardcameras

    @forwardcameras

    Depth of field means what will be in focus depending on the size of the aperature so for instance the background is fuzzy and subject is in focus

    Well this could be a lot of different problems. If it works then doesn’t the gears might be misaligned or there might be an internal issue that needs to be fixed

    my ASA (ISO) is stuck on 100. When I lift it the whole dial spins, not just the ASA indicatior. Is there a way to get it unstuck?

    Just pulled an old fujica 35mm out of a dumpster, had a long range lense and a flash thing, super excited to learn how to use it What is the lever on the front to the side of the lens? When pulled back and I hit the little button behind the lever it starts running back and sounds like small gears moving. Oops didn't watch long enough, its the timer
