If there is a place where life seems to have returned to its essentiality, we at @Story Hunters Tv happened to meet it at the foot of Mount Tindaya, at Laura and Maci's home on the island of Fuerteventura. Such encounters synchronise us with our deepest conviction, the one that drives us to work every day on our Project, the one that makes us believe that life, in order to be truly fulfilled, must pass through a change. Life is nothing but an uninterrupted sequence of changes, but a conscious and self-determined change is probably the only one that can bring each of us closer to our essence and our essentiality. Incidentally, we are talking about realising our lives, nothing, therefore, to do with that commonly perceived 'feeling of fulfilment', that which is understood in terms of success or social climbing. On the contrary, very often it is just the opposite, as in this case. The story of Laura and Mari (Massimiliano) is the story of two "successful" people who, at a certain point, realised that the truth about themselves lay elsewhere. We think it can be an emblematic story to underline the distinction between realising oneself and realising one's life, which may appear to be a disquisition in terms and instead is of vital importance. In practice, it is a question of giving oneself the possibility of living one's own existence, i.e. that which is written, in some way, within us, and thus becoming "persons", or continuing to live according to the dictates of conventions or circumstances that surround us, which condition our way of being and conceiving life and which often make us look more like "characters" than persons. We are, therefore, abstract figures whose entity people perceive by convention: the bank official, or the interior decorator, for example, and I mention these two figures because these were the ones that Laura and Maci were wearing in their envelopes. It is clear that, getting to know them, one immediately understands that behind this there have always been in them two deep and sensitive personalities endowed with that perceptive intelligence that makes people attentive and aware of what revolves around them. But, when all is said and done, their meeting and their personalities meant that, once together, their lives turned into a common search for identity. The identity of each of us, as you can easily guess, is made up of our uniqueness. Laura and Maci were able to make their uniqueness their life, the fruit of their change. Not only that, they have been able to transfer this "landing" to their surroundings and have decided to share it with others. All of Massimiliano's experience as a decorator and his creative and manual skills have been put into practice in the renovation of the old majori house which they have bought, live in and share with the guests of their rural hotel. Laura's journey of change and awareness, as well as the enveloping art of hospitality which she exercises with emotion and transport, has been recorded in a book of great depth, in the writing of which she is committed to helping others find the path to change. In addition, Laura has acquired life coaching certificates over the years and uses her life experience and studies to help others change and find themselves.
