Fuel stabiliser and why you should be using it update…..
Here why it works for me…..
The 450 engine used here has a wet carb, in that fuel stays in it when it’s not in use or stored. Therefore it’s vital that the fuel is kept fresh, stabil storage has worked for me flawlessly for 5 years now, my carb stays spotlessly clean as does the fuel tank and the fuel stored in my storage cans.

I swapped to an 80V Lithium-Ion mower a couple of years ago so I don't have any seasonal starting issues. However I do use a stabiliser product in my mother-in-law's Honda engine mower and it does make the early spring start much easier. It also means you don't have to strip the carb down to get it running smoothly each year.

I shall be getting this for my SPI…….and mower. Still using E5 super unleaded for both atm but belts and braces doesn’t hurt
Yes stabil works may not always work as it did on your mower but still a good hedge to stop carburator damage.... I have a generator with a china made engine honda knockoff no lie 8yrs same gas just top it off add stabil after priming it starts 1 to 3 pulls...main thing is maintence but alas most people are very lazy at maintence.

I use Liqui Moly petrol stabiliser as it is much easier to grab my hands on over here

I think the point is any quality product is much better than using none at all. I recommend stabil as it’s the only product I have used and know it works.
my 107 runs like a dog on e10 ,,, thats the end of that.
