Another informative video by the great tuning wizard! Thanks for showing the fuel damage, it is a serious problem and yet is preventable with stabilizers. I just did a full set of seals on a carb as well as valve stem seals that had turned to goo due to fuel damage.

Hi AC Dodd. Regarding your notice a cleaned ( with a wire / compressed air ) this tiny hole as visible in the fuel/float chamber of a SU HIF44. What does this hole have as function ? I can rub it with a wire .. but I don’t know where this channel end ; for what function .

It’s an air balance bleed, the carb does not run properly when blocked.

lighten the flywheel you will notice the difference

You will indeed the same mod on a bigger engine is physics.

Ye my son had his flywheel lightened on his 5 turbo…… you deff you feel the difference 😎👌🏽
