What size air compressor do you need

Hi Ali Mech, I subscribed. I like your videos because they are clear and concise. You have done a lot of fuel injector cleaning videos. I would like to know: how do you know if your fuel injectors need cleaning? What are the symptoms? How do you know that they are now clean? I made my own cleaning setup by using a fuel rail from the junkyard and making an adapter similar to what you did. I sprayed carb cleaner through them and used a 9V battery to fire them. It worked and the carb cleaner sprayed through them. It seemed to flow freely but it was hard to know if the spray pattern was correct.

Thanks, when the fuel injectors dirty, the engine consumes more fuel and some times you will be able to smell gas when you start up the car, and also engine will be less power when you accelerate

@@AliMECH I have a question when you set your compression tank at 60 psi do you then turn it off so it won't turn back on and also by you having it set at 60 psi how long does it take for the cleaning fluid to run out

Can I use a portable compressor to do this job?

Do you know where I can get the electronics to do the out of vehicle injector testing? The electronics to attach to the injector...

Is this process the same for a 2012 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder?

Is one cleaning sufficient or how many for a vehicle that has an intermittent crank no start issue. Once warm it starts fine if you dont sit for more than 20 minutes. It maybe the pump but not sure yet.

This answered the only question I had: will it do the injector out of the car? The answer is yes, but only if its assembled to the fuel rail.

I seen another video with a return less system but mine has a return line which the kit instructions says disconnect and connectto system. But there is nowhere to connect the return line on the system.

How do you clean the catalytic converter?

Which way do you think works better? Taking the injectors out and using a driver with carb cleaner or this For the people that live in apartments the only way to run a compressor would be a REALLY long cord, or a portable battery compressor of your favorite brand of power tools ($200-$400 dollars). At that point you can get a injector cleaner/ flow test bench for those prices Tough choice

If there's a return hose, connect it to the fuel inlet, if not you could make the fuel inlet go in a jerrycan

2012 F150 5.0 L engine. Took the largest male connector that would fit into the female connector. Capped the end of that connector with the cap that was in the kit, using Teflon tape to seal it. Plug it into the fuel line, this will allow the system to build pressure. Leave the fuel pump relay and fuse in for this to work.

You made it look so simple and easy. But, in reality, that kit has dozens of parts and you have to know what you're doing to put the right combination of parts together and how to hook it up to your fuel rail properly and each car looks different under the hood. What would be interesting would be to see a comparison of cleaning dirty injectors with this kit versus just putting a can or two of injector cleaner into the gas tank. Both methods work about the same way, don't they? Your regular fuel pump pushes gas under pressure to the fuel rail just like that kit applies pressure to your cleaning solution to the fuel rail. So does the kit clean better than just adding cleaner to the gas tank? The kit probably has a more concentrated cleaning solution but you could run your gas tank down to almost empty and then add a couple cans of injector cleaner to get a more concentrated solution, too. I'm just looking for the best way for me to NOT take a working vehicle and turn it into a NON-working vehicle. If I start messing around in all those hoses and railings under the hood, I see a danger of me not having a running car anymore.

If you dont know where to hook it up to for the fuel system or vaccum hoses you can just try straight into the throttle body

I tried this on a 2013 F150 5.0L Coyote engine. I tried up to 65 lbs of pressure, but the fuel rail will not pass it, vehicle will not run as injectors are not getting fuel (cleaner), I can't figure out how to get the back pressure off the fuel rail to actually pass the pressurized cleaner. Thoughts?

Amazing video. Years ago I took my car to a shop and asked how they cleaned the injectors. Their idea was to pour a bottle of injector cleaner into the tank and charge a ridiculous amount of money for it. 😡

Of course you will need a compressor and I put it on 60 psi, it's good if you have a garage or constantly working on cars, but other than that, it's not good
