In a near-future America, where the government bans vehicle petrol in an attempt to conserve dwindling natural resources, a rebellious underground movement emerges. While the authorities maintain their right to use petrol for official purposes, a group of renegades forms to challenge this restrictive policy. Determined to preserve their freedom and love for the open road, they take to the countryside in defiance, risking everything to fight for their right to drive as they please. The story follows one such group as they navigate the dangers of their newfound outlaw status, facing the oppressive government and finding unexpected allies along the way.

This is "Firebird 2015 A.D." A little ahead of its time, but not by much.
I'd have been pretty upset if I paid to see this movie at a theater back then, what we called a "bomb" in those days. But .. seeing this today .. well, it brought back a lot of nice memories of better times and I'll have to admit it was fun to watch and see some nice cars again and some pretty girls, too! I still remember the cars in this picture when they were new, makes me feel pretty old! Those were great days for cars and many other things, I really don't think that most of us ever dreamed that things would be as they are today, so, this is a great, old movie to enjoy and to reminisce about a person's youth and having a good time. :^)
