FTX Outback Fury 2- 1/10th Crawler - Fitting the body bits and a couple of fixes
Just a few things before I hope to get out for a run with it. I improve the roof rack and suspension. Then add some body parts.
This video is for 14 years old and older. These Rc vehicles are dangerous as there are fast moving parts and hot parts that can burn.

Hi I can't see to good but a 1:53 paused it looks like if you unscrew the tie rod off the steering servo horn and put it back on with a spacer half as thick or less as what's on there it will make it not rub and make the angle closer to the panhard rod so it should even make it work better when you compress the suspension. The body looks nice!

I will look into your idea as if they sorts it a good one. The body is nice, I never had a Jeep with the grinning grill.
Nice work Malcom the fun is in the details

So right, but there will be more later.
thanks bud, just bought this truck and didn't think of melting the end of the wipers and handles 👍🐿

It's a good crawler, melting was an easy way of fixing the bits but have to be careful.
Hi Mal! Love doing detail work! Looks really sharp! 👍😎👍

Thanks Bro 🙂
Sometimes those steering links can be tightened up to much which causes them to catch on each other. You can also include spacers between them, you'll need a longer screw/bolt but that can also get rid of them catching/rubbing. Another thing, those extra screws on your roof rack would have made your truck quite a bit more expensive 😆. The extra bits look good. Been trying to find decent fitting windshield wipers for my on-road car. You'd be surprised how small they make them, it's hard to find a decent looking pair 🙄 Got yourself a driver yet? Rotopacks would look good on your back tire mount, simple and lightweight.

Hi, enjoy your vids mate, would you reckon that a 5 pole motor would help with speed and smoothness on this rig? Seen in one of your videos you say it's a bit fast in reverse cheers for your input 👍

I'm running a 45t now 35t would be better, the motor was too fast and a 5 pole would be a good replacement. I was using what I had in the shed. Thanks for watching and glad you like the videos.

@@richardwinsonRC For a RTR above average, only the motor was an issue issue for me. I like just above a fast walking pace.
Think I'd go with hot glue for the handles and wipers. I just know I'd fuck up with an iron ! 😄

I like hot glue but messy, sometime you need to live dangerously.
