Just a little bit of description of the players from the inside. Zaar is not a "showed up from nowhere" player, he is a very good player and he was always capable of winning matches against good players. dimon, as a lot of players, hates mirrors; now EvE is one of the most frustrating mirrors and he got the bad luck to catch 2 of them + the time zone and the human body limits combined does not allow you to always deliver the best games, dimon himself stated it. DDF is one of the powerhouses of the moment, a really good player who dominates the Chinese server; you do not see a lot of replays from him lately, because he is playing mostly on Chinese server and they have their own platform for sharing replays, but he is in the top right now and that's why his performance in this tournament was so good. I hope these remarks will be handy after watching the video. Kudos for a good cast to XYHC and Sybert!

You know I was confused with how dimon played so hyper aggressive but after seeing how ddf played it makes sense. Staying on the offensive probably gave him more chances to catch him off guard than just turtling and waiting for your slaughter. Props to zar he did a lot of work in all those games

2:40 Something that was a little went under the radar here is how Zaar very smartly used the Shogun battleships to quietly snipe the Hydrofoils from afar thus opening the skies for an aerial assault and it did made it very must possible to fight that fleet.

Alright that Yuriko game was awesome.

I like the new player ui, but it feels a little overwhelming. Not exactly for its bulky size but rather it's placement. I like it better on the top left because it lined up with the map. Having to shift my eyes from top right to bottom left and so on, its kinda tiring to keep track of the money and map. Tho all of this is just my personal preference. Its still your decision on how the new looks will go

Interesting... that is a perspective I had not considered. I watch a decent amount of SC2 and so I'm used to my eyes going from the middle of the screen to the top left for production, to the bottom for info, to the bottom left for minimap to the middle again. One downside to top left is the amount of space it takes up of the camera. In C&C the camera is tilted so the bottom of the screen has a narrower field of view than the top of the screen. Size is a product of both KW and RA3 have UI down there and this starboard is designed to cover both. In a perfect world it'd be a bit smaller, but the size can also be an advantage for mobile viewers. Ultimately I'm not 100% locked in, I'm confident the general design is the direction I want to go and what works best overall, but it's definitely a case of tradeoffs and not one being 100% better than the other. Anyways, thanks for your perspective. I'd love for you to sound off again in a couple of weeks to see if it's something you got used to or if it's still causing a problem.

Wow what a dominant performance from DDF. While his style of slow and calculated play of just choke the other players to death is not as exciting to watch, you have to recognize that he does a great job of creating those small early game leads, and snowballing with that. It force the other player to find ways to destabilize his tempo. Like that match where Zaars litteraly parked his tengus on top of DDF base so he is forced to keep his own tengus inside his base to defend lol. In that game Zaars could take control of the map freely and eventually that leave Zaars army to catch DDF's off guard when DDF was finally tier 2.

Hello Sybert. I wonder if the players competed in uprising (or rather insurrection) version of ra3 cuz there's already a mod for that with which we can play uprising online.

I do wonder what would be their response to Giga Fortresses, Harbingers, X-2 Future Tanks etc. Soviets def covered their early game problem with Mortar Cycle and Japan finally thought of making Anti Air infantry. Would love to see if Uprising wasnt so broken.

Maybe as a goofy show match. I don’t think it would work well for serious competition, or it would need a lot of balance tweaks.

No hesitation to click on Red alert 3 content.

Dimon may suck when it comes to him playing off-race. But Lord Jesus, his power when controlling minions throwing Vodka molotov is unimaginable.

I think the reason Dimon lost back to back is because he kept getting mirror matches. Twice Empire mirror matches. He hates mirror matches. His opponent being random and still getting the same faction was the worst thing for Dimon to face against.

Even if it were available, the Giga Fortress costs as much as 3 Shoguns! I'd rather have 3 Shoguns, personally. You can do more with them.

I mean, Dimon had a 2+ year streak where he was almost undefeated in 1v1 tournaments, turning around losing streaks and playing with multiple factions. He also has a win rate over DDF in tournaments. Recognizing Dimon as one of the best of all time isn’t overrating him. Everyone has respected DDF for a long time, he and Dimon have had many close series over the years and on this day it went DDFs way. Doesn’t mean Dimon has fell off or DDF was underrated.

@@OneSybert Don't get me wrong, I am aware of Dimons achievements, I've watched you're casts for years now, I'm subscribed to maybe 2 or 3 channels in total and Yours is probably my favourite, Love watching the vids and the work you put into them, I could listen to you commentate on the games all day. The only issue I have is when you cast sometimes you put Dimon on a pedestal, Dimon wont even be in a game but you still will bring him up and say things like...well this guy or that guy is no Dimon, I kind of just find it a tad disrespectful to other players, that's my only gripe I have.

Þe gist of it is, while oþer such as PiKa and Bashley are also splendid at match-ups, þey don't have þat many quirks to go around.

red alert 3 is all about those tengus, its why it sucks to watch, same thing with watching someone playing USA in generals, its just humvees with rocket soldiers, nothing to see
