Fantastic back-and-forth match between Senna and Dunetiger. Great walker/cultist/corrupter rush by Dune in game 2, followed up with Senna playing ZOCOM like Black Hand in game 3. Edit: I wonder what the best response to that Scrin rush is, in that moment (2:08:00 in the video). Usually preds are better than guardian cannons, but not when cultists are around. One guardian cannon costs the same as two watchtowers, has about the same armor, requires slightly less power and deals 56.5% more damage against vehicles. Maybe go with guardian cannons and hammerheads? But circle the hammerheads around to target the cultists, not fly them into the teeth of the walkers.

Kauz IV ... it might not be certain, but if he is a German player, chances are that his name being pronunced ("cowts feer") a "Kauz" is a male owl, i do recall.

Kauz just means owl, some species are named Kauz, some Eule for no particular reason though Kauz often refers to smaller species.

That was a great cast and some great games, Sybert. I wish Senna could have used prodigy/cultist in his last game vs dune tiger. That could have been a game changer for him.

T59 is my favorite subfaction, and it's so satisfying to see some sick plays with them in this series :3

Is there a discord server for cnc3 KW map making or world builder community? The mention of adding assets in 1:15:40 from other CNC games into KW got me curious

Sybert, have you thought about cutting these long videos into more smaller ones? It would greatly benefit your channel and also increase the number of people you could reach and possibly also excite for the game because this is just how the algorithm works. I would love to see KW get more attention. :D

I used to post each series as it's own video, however I see generally better results for viewership and the tournament as a whole when I group them together. I think there's a balance. Putting the entire thing together into one 5-6 hour video isn't necessarily twice as good as two 2-3 hour videos, but for everything that isn't the tournament final combining them seems to be better overall. Also there are times when upload schedule would be too clunky. My CCL coverage is two videos covering seven series of games, the old way that would require seven different upload days (probably with at least one day in-between each one) where as this way takes only two upload days. I myself as a viewer don't mind when the whole tournament is one video, it's not ideal, but I like that more (as a viewer) than having everything broken out too much (League will break stuff out into individual games which is annoying to me).

@Sybert - thank you much, there is no any caster I wanna hear more than you. Your energy is very catchy!) As always thinking about Shadow teams - did they can help to claim the victory against T59 cultists? In every strategy, in every game there be some underdog units, that can help, but they are never being used. Or maybe I'm wrong, and this is just a viewer perspective.

That's a good thought about shadow teams, my initial response is shadow teams are probably too expensive as they require a secret shrine. However, I think a few shadow teams in the right place is a lot cheaper than having to kill your own army as it gets mind controlled. I think you might be on to something. Maybe a three or four shadow team hit squad would be enough to snipe cultists quickly so they don't just mind control the shadow teams.

Like seeing others using factions like T59, MoK and stuff but very rarely does anyone actually utilize the full power of the faction. I know with early pressure it makes sense but as with a faction like T59 it's better to push air power not just Stormriders. A few carriers and destroyers coupled with a hex and a few support ground troops it is really hard to lose.

Sybert. I see the same tactics from BR. Makes real damage with 4 Seeker.

Great to see some guardian turrets! That second game between Senna and Dunetiger was just disgusting... Did they agree to play random at the start of the series? Or was this whole tournament random pick?

I missed out on c&c games. Think I was being a blizzard snob at the time.

They are definitely not as well made as Blizzard games but they hit a particular spot.

how you get Kane wrath to run online? got tib war runnning but Kane wrath seems to not want to, the community patch gets blocked so cant do that lol XD

I've been watching these videos for a couple of days now and seen maybe 5 flame tank attempts. I have yet to see one succeed. I don't even know what the attempt is, I never played this game multiplayer.

C&C Online: cnc-online.net/en/ You can also use LAN emulation clients, but I'm not sure how many people are on them.

Most Scrin plays rely on either a support power or an upgrade to accompany it. Not always, but usually. Kind of similar to Protoss and Allies.

It's on both Steam and Origin. You can get it during a sale for $5. Kane's Wrath does require Tiberium Wars though.
