This is cool. I just discovered your channel. I used to fly model planes as a kid (1960s) but nothing as sophisticated as this stuff! My, how times have changed! You seem to have some really fun videos. Will be watching a lot now that I found you. Subscribed and thumbs UP for you! Thanks.

Bout time! I already cut out and built mine, got the plans from the forum. This looks great! Thank you guys! This is gonna be a fun Lil slope basher.
Epic! This is definitely my next build. I have built 4 Versa Wings and 2 Blunt nose now. Time to move on. Really glad Peter is a part of the FT crew!
FlightTest is life changing. I was into RCs years ago and it's incredible how battery technology and advances in electronics along with the price point allows almost anyone to fully enjoy all aspects of the RC Aircraft Hobby. I recently got back into the hobby with my 10 year old son and it's been a blast. We purchased him the Hobbyzone Delta Ray after watching the FT review on it. I have a Flyzone Extra 300 and I love it! We are now currently just getting into this scratch build sector of the hobby and the versatility of the power packs and unlimited options and builds opens up a entire new world. I am from Pennsylvania and we are considering a road trip for the FlightFest 16!
Hey guys! I've been watching your videos for a very long time and I really wanted you guys to do a showcase on the PowerUp 3.0. This is a remote control paper airplane conversion kit, it is a powered module that let's you connect you paper airplane to your phone and fly it around! Thank you guys for the awesome videos and keep up the good work!

Awesome build guys! I have a suggestion. When you're doing the control linkages, before you tighten down the knob, you could fold the wing slightly to ensure the control surface is completely straight. Also, when doing the linkages for the folding wing, you could fold the control surface so that you don't have to hold the wing down while pushing on the control horn.
Love the design, thanks Peter for the continued creativity.
40:39 when Josh says, "Then after we do foolish things with it." and then Peters laugh. LOL
I just got the materials and built the plane!! It flys so smoothly and very fast! Thanks for the toutorial.
GOT MY PUN JET TODAY!!! Time to airbrush some flames, then to build!!! :D
I don't even fly planes but these are still cool to watch you make :s
I like that Peter is an adult with out kids; with his little south park reference and all off hos fire arm stickers
"I haven't had an aerodynamic failure with this...at least under electric power, and it's own gliding ability" - Peter FoamandTape So, you're saying you have had an aerodynamic failure under rocket power? ;-)
Awesome little jet Peter. Good job!
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!!! R/C is the best hobby ever!
You young men are the bomb. Our club will be ordering from you and building these this winter as a group. Thank you for being there for our new RC pilots.

"if you cut all the way through you're gonna have a bad time" -Peter lol that cracked me up
Fantastic site. It's great for old timers and newbees. You're never to old to learn something new, or just for refreshment.
I have to say you guys have some nice designs and some good free ones and great vids showing how to put together.im new to rc planes but I'm going to start as a new hobby so thanks for everything.soon as I make something I will send video.keep sharing and the site looks great and it's very well built and easy to navigate.
I love watching you building stuff like this but the first time I want to build this design at my own
This would be so sick with tricycle landing gear defiantly my favorite dr plane great work peti
Great stuff guys, love the fun it brought to whole group
38:15 "I WANNA GO FAAAST" -Peter
Making one of these tonight, thank you!
I really like these build videos, i am an advanced model builder so this is very simple stuff for me.. but watching this seems to have a very calming effect on me, very relaxing. I do however get annoyed by the camera man's focusing problems, i feel its particularly bad in this episode.. Please try to improve, as it disrupts my FT meditation:)
you guys do a really great job at showing us how to build this. I'm going to try my luck at building one. i have 2-9 gram servos and a spektrum ar610 6ch receiver. thats all i have right now. im looking for a transmitter but not sure what to get. i love the one you have but I'm sure that one is above my pay grade. lol. thanks for a great video.
Here's a suggestion fit the folding wing linkage: if you turn the control horns around so that they point away from the fuselage, you'll get a straighter pull, as the piano wire won't be pulled down toward the wing as much. This way, you can get the full 90 degrees of rotation without stressing the servo as much.
That throw gauge looked like a missile for me. I laminated two together, made two of that, and stuck it at the bottom lol.
thank you for the free plans two thumbs up!
Thx guys, amazing video again
on this pun jet design, would it be a good idea switch the servos to being under the wing instead of on top? I'm using a traxxas 1/16 batteries and I'm having the move the servos forward because I'm using linkage arms from another plane that was crashed
fast like hell! and really good looking, thats cool. greetings from Portugal.
quick idea: a KF step airfoil might help new fliers with this as it would allow the plane to fly at a slower speed. Super easy to add too, just one flat piece of foam on each wing, cut to the correct outline.
@JbVest
9 жыл бұрын
dandil can someone elaborate on how and if the KF airfoil for the pun jet would really help its performance
@nwimpney
9 жыл бұрын
Jeremy Vest An airfoil gives more lift at lower speeds, so it would allow you to fly it a bit more slowly without stalling (or needing to fly very high alpha where you have less stability)
@FliteTest Could you make a swappable twin-engine warbird? (B25 Mitchell, ...) That really would be awesome. PS: I love your videos and I am planning to build the Guinea Pig.

Can you guys design more planes like this pun jet? This plane is easy to build and has an amazing performance!
thanks for blooper. miss those.
If only Peter wasn't such a control freak. Josh did a great job with the kid gloves. Constantly interrupting, constantly desiring the last word. Even on his own channel "shut up" is his most used phrase.
Nice work guys! Congrats to Peter--he's a real asset to your operation. The layout of the Pun Jet really appeals to me--but the size and sensitivity don't suit me. I'm tempted to build a "super-sized" version, using a modified :fuselage from the FT-22 and scaled up dimensions for the wing and verticals. Maybe you guys could give this a try and show us the results????
Josh, question. when you put the folding servo in, why did you use a straight arm and not a circular arm?
Is Servo that picks up the wings up and down necessary
FliteTest How much do you think I have to scale up to use a 24g motor from my old FTdelta? I also want to say thank you for getting me back into the hobby after many years away. My BW, FT3D and Spitfire are great flyers.
Great job.
can the folding function be used mid flight for some cool acrobatic stunts?
Shouldn't the control horns for the wing folds be turned 90 degrees so they're not flat side to the wind? Would that cut down on drag?
Hi FliteTest I Am Sanchay Agrawal. I Am a great fan of yours. I Wanted to ask something: Can we make it with cardboard? Will it fly like yours?
Does it enter in the mini guinea ? And keep doing these great stuffs :) I'm going to scratch build the mini guinea tomorrow, i'm so excited !
hi guys. please could you make a rc paper plane challenge for your next episode. I would love it if you did this.
Hola! me podrían decir cuál es el expesor del Epp en milímetros por favor? Me encantan vuestros vídeos!! un saludo desde España!!
How you could make the servos like that elevon ? İ just want to learn it . Same servos but different moves (aileron + elevator ) can u please tell me ? is it about remote ?
You guys needed to do a build episode with bob Ross. This was calming.
could this carry a 140 g weight? i know its almost doubling the weight but i need it to fly, not fly well and i could try to shave off some mass in various places in the foam
What did he use to tighten up the servo horn. I know he used CA glue first. What was the second thing he put on it?
you might not get to read this message or even less to reply it, but I wanted to tell you guys (Josh and the team) that you have inspired me to get me into this amazing hobby and expend so much good times outdoor with my friends and dog that I have no words to thank you. I am a true fan and follower from Miami and wish you could post also (all of you) more stuff on instagram and also would be great if you could follow back @djnikolas!! hope you all have a great day !!

Great video
It's A Cool Video. I just visited your channel. Thanks guys For Sharing........................
hello here in Brazil it is hard to find this kind of material, I wonder what type of paper is used to coat the Depron. Here we have the Foan but I believe it is very thick and heavy.
Fill the side of the cutters that the cut wire will be in with silicone, let it set up, then slice it so you can open the pliers again. The silicone will hold the wire when you cut it.
building one and putting a 2826/6 motor with a 7x4 !!! this things gonna FLYYYYY
I'm really interested in starting to build and fly rc planes, in your build videos which is the easiest plane to build and fly for a beginner ?
I'm using a EMAX 1806 2300kv motor with 6x4 2s battery and it keeps spinning (I'm guessing torque but I could be wrong). Am I using the correct setup (Props/Motors/Battery)???
Are you guys planning on making a bigger version of the mini scout, speedster, or pun jet
Where did you bought the remote controller??
Please do a review on Alex's QAV400
ty you 2 man I love it I would like to make a slow one lol ty
14:59 (don't make this your first time airplane) i'm just sitting here with my dad silently laughing at this thinking this is a blast not a bad time!
How hard would it be to mount a forward facing board camera on this for fpv?
What kind of Rx and TX are you using? I went to the Graupner website and there are about 100 different kinds of each
Nice build, you happy with the graupner stuff?
I'm a total begginer to building R/C models, but i have some experience in flying them. So is it a good idea to build this one, but with a less powerful motor and smaller propelers ? Would that slow it down ? Note that I'll be building this from scratch

I suggest their ft flyer if you have never scratch built any of their planes before.
Please! Make a 200-300% versipn of this plane, that would just be amazing and puuuuuure fun!!!
does the power pack A come with the servo arms for the rods to connect to the control horns?

hi josh I build a Rc plane but it didn't flew please give me a link of parameters to be maintained to build a Rc air plane please help me and please replay me
What is your best "first time" builder kit? I want to build a plane. By the way I've never flown planes before but I've flown helis and quads. Thanks

its great that you all are able to unite
what prop size does this plane use if i have an 1806 2300kv motor?
drop as many of these as you can get into the C130 !
Прикольный самолет
Yo what makes the wings go up and down and side to side please Answer me if u can cuz I'm building my own plane that has a mini jet engine but I have a problem with the wings so if you don't mind need a little help ☺😐
If you buy it in the school will it includes transmitters?
how much time would u get out of it with a 3s 800?
pretty cool guys =D
Can we add thrust vectoring on this?
For larger metal screwdrivers i slam them on the vice(or other solid unpainted metal objects) a few times and they become magnetized
How much percentage smaller does this plane have to go for the mini guinui pig

hello I want the motors and other controlled and other accessories to make one

dose a transmitter come with the remote or do you have to by one seperate
@aarons7836
8 жыл бұрын
+Hannah-Adam van der Feyst This is only a build, there are absolutely no electronics including (those you have to supply yourself). Only the hardware, so yes you need your own remote/transmitter. Good recommendation for a first transmitter, www.horizonhobby.com/radios/aircraft-transmitters/dx6i-6-channel-dsmx-reg%3B-transmitter-spmr6630 . also id recommed you watch the flite test beginner series. good luck :)
I have a question about scaling it up..... I saw a video about someone who scaled it up 200%. In that case do the throws stay them same or do you increase them by how much you scale it up? For example 16 degrees for high throws become 32 degrees when scaled up to 200%? Any suggestions welcome!

Does the power pack include a motor mount?
does the kit come with the power pod?
HELP!!! When I throttle up my prop bends and strikes the vertical stabilizers! I can't find any build mistakes that I may have made. Anyone have a fix?
this clip is nice

i just commented on another video suggesting a fictional plane: the Arwing, from starfox. this little guy looks similar enough to it that you could mod it into the arwing!
