FSU has the highest average recruit rating in the country with a 100% blue chip ratio. FSU beat UGA for both a 4* DT from Georgia and a 4* WR from Georgia this week. They just beat Texas for another 4* DT. That's to go along with a 5* DE, 5* OL, 4* QB, and 4* LB. They're probably going to get another 5-6 blue chip commits in the next week and be ranked inside 247's top-10 and On3's top-5 after another week or so.

No issues with recruiting at all as they just signed one of the best portal classes, added 3 4* recruits over national powers this week, look primed for one of the best classes in the country heading into a season they're conference favorites and a culture with 0 arrests under Norvell, highest GPA in team history, a roster that had nearly 100% of roster return for their 2022 bowl, and only until corrupt businessmen took their entire season way from them did they turn their focus to their individual future instead of playing in the meaningless bowl of the 2023 season.

Game served literally no translational value. @martinrosario4018 I'm not completely convinced of that. This sport is going through such rapid change that issues will spring up everywhere. FSU has certainly caught their share of them but I don't think a program pursues a guy like Norvell to replace Saban if they hadn't determined that he is a good coach. I actually see it the other way around. FSU was beyond in the gutter 5 years ago. They won games last year that they shouldn't have based on their roster but the coaching kept them in it. That is definitely a big step up from a 3 win season or losing to Jacksonville state. Will he be Kirby or Saban? Maybe, maybe not. But I tend to see which direction a program is moving and they have absolutely gotten better through the past few years.

The “only June” thing isn’t really valid anymore because a lot of recruits get in the boat early these days. A lot can change from now until December but a ton of recruits are making their decisions in the months of June - August nowadays. That’s just sad. Poor FSU. I thought they were back

2026 is not 2025. One full year of recruiting can change a lot. Only a few more months left until 2025. It’s totally different.

@@dylancummings398 signing day for 2025 is December. Signing day for 2026 is another 12 months. Currently, most of 2025 recruits are either committed or settling into committing. 2026, most commits haven’t even gone on an official visit yet.

@@adamthesportsfan2346there’s literally 6 more months till signing day all these so called commits haven’t put any pen to paper yet and I guess we’re ignoring the 6-7 recruits that are crystal balled to fsu who commit between now an august the troll jobs gotta get better 😂😂😂

@@adamthesportsfan2346 90% of the other schools above FSU just have a ton of 3* recruits which makes their overall ranking higher for now. FSU is going to end up signing or flipping another handful of 4* and maybe even another 5* recruit and then backfill with some 3* guys and still end up finishing top 25. Norvell has recruited a Top 25 class every year since he took the job at FSU and he currently has the #1 class for 2026, he isn't just going to randomly finish outside the top 50 one year.
