Frying an Opinel; Opinel frittieren

DO NOT DO THIS AT HOME!
No kidding, this can be really dangerous. The oil can catch fire, cloths with splashes of Linseed oil can lead to an spontaneous combustion and water in the hot oil can lead to splashes and to severe burns.

I used Linseed oil, I put the knife in with the blade sticking out, and heated it up to 200 Celsius (took 15 minutes).

    That’s linseed oil varnish for anyone wondering And the results are in the link in the description. Looks absolutely stunning imho. I have to try it

    Hi, hmmmm, sth around 20 minutes I would say. I fry it as long, as it takes to get the wood nice and dark.
