I use a Huawei Watch GT3 with a Pixel 6 Pro and a OnePlus 8 Pro myself and have absolutely no problem with disconnects. Another difference to the Watch GT2 are the sensors. They are damn exactly compared to my Garmin 6 Pro and heart rate belt. I find the crown stylish. All other points I agree with you.

He complained about it being overpriced, man have you heard of apple watch? Hahaha 😂

I am personally very satisfied with this watch...perhaps SW was improved meanwhile? My child wants to play with it, but luckily it has "screen lock" function. Heart rate sensor accuracy is excellent - and this is the key distinction of this watch.

Thanks for the video, just disagree with one thing, I do find the rotating crown useful during exercise/workout that involve water e.g. swimming, diving. When the watch inside water or your hand is wet, the touch screen seems hardly to function well. So you got the alternative of using the crown to help you navigate.

Thanks for the video! It's a shame you've had issues with your GT3, I've had mine for about 2 weeks now and I have not had a single disconnect, it's paired to a Samsung S21U and has been flawless. As far as comparing to the GT2, I had a GT2 Pro until recently and I have to say that the user experience is far better with the GT3. The UX is far more fluid and much faster and the rotating crown is a pleasure, but I do understand that everybody has different usage scenarios, that's just my personal experience. Very happy with the GT3, I had the GW4 but hated the battery life so tried the GT2, great watch but frustrated with the slow UX. The GT3 seems to be the "Goldilocks" device for me...just right!

Had mine for a week now, still on 68%battery, flawless connection, smooth screen scrolling, bucket loads of different faces, all for £149......

While lifting weights - put your watch on upside down. The pressing the button issue during lifting is not unique to this watch.

I don't have disconnet issue either. Gimmick features exists in every gadget. Just ignore it if find not useful. I bought it because of the upgraded more accurate heart rate sensor compared to other watches. The only comparable is Apple watch which is more expensive and not working for Android. Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for the nice review :) To be honest, I had the amazfit gtr 3 pro and I had to return it. It was lagging and the battery drained in 2 days. I returned it and I received the Huawei GT 3 today. I hope it won't disconnect like your unit. Apart from that, so far it is working fine. I hope they will fix some of the issues with software updates.

Hy they fixed everything ,no laggs no disconnects ,everything works really fine ,i had a few watches but this is the most stable watch ive ever used ,32mb ram is kinda mind blowing.

Great review, as a cyclist I have been considering this watch especially now as I have GT2 Pro I love this watch but there only one thing missing, auto pause, so when I went to the shop and tested GT3 and saw the function of auto stop I was thrilled, apart from the unnecessarily higher price the reason I didn't buy it is because of the rotating button, it's absolutely useless and impossible to avoid, even if I cycle without gloves it's always going to be touching my hand and rolling around options and pause. Very sad.

Get the Gt3 Pro. IT has auto stop and no problem with that rotating buton when cycling..

This is a detailed review that cites and demos specific problems Wes. +1. I actually disagree that a rotating crown is useless for smartwatches. Because integrating a dial control decreases levels of direct finger-to-screen contact. Plus, dial rotation is an interactive navigation device.

You don't have to reset the watch in order to reconnect. What helped is unpairing the watch from the app itself (not just disconnecting it), and it worked again. Doesn't take much time, but not ideal, of course.

Can this watch let you edit distance of treadmill running? That determines if Icahn buy it, coz I only run indoors. Thanks!

I had 2 years GT2, especialy for bluetooth, with my old GT2 after 3 rooms distance at home it works fine away my mobile (mate 20 lite), now with GT3 after 1 yes one room I receive this stupid message..... DISCONNECTED !!! Disappointed.......

I love my Huawei gt3 watch works great with my Redmi note 9 pro

Thanks for the video! Only 2 thinks I do not agree with: I'm not having disconnection issues on mine. On the evolution side: training plans are now finally customizable and AOD mode follows the watchface. Those are very welcome evolution.

Tips for the use of this watch, disable battery savings in the mobile for the health app. I preffer 10 days of use in this optimized watch, what 1 day in wear OS, apple Watch. It can store mp3 files and listen without mobile with an bluetooth ear-in. I don't move the rotating crown by error. I the measure of sleep are better than Samsung watch 4 and the heart rate in activity too.

Most of these problems are not present in gt3 se. No bluetooth problems, no rotating crown, just a few sport modes, lower price. Not so premium look though.

I got one of these a couple of weeks ago, I agree with a lot of what you say, I must add that the voice assistant is shit and just straight up doesn't work at all, except for setting up an alarm some times, I haven't had any connection issues though, sadly, I agree with some of your other points, I must also add that the fact that the watch can't display emojis sucks

Zenfone 8 owner and no issues with connection.

Good watch so far so good! If you have many probles contact your dealer.

GT 3 apps difficult to connect with phone. the program is complicated, they should keep it simple

some of the problems and facts presented are actually kinda subjective or not enough documented.....

The only regret I had with this watch is, having no NFC. NFC featured in my watch but not available because of law and agreements with my country. Connection issues happens only when I use 2 bt device at same time. Because my 6 years old flagship phone doesn't handle anymore and I need a new one 😢

All watches have their bad sides... you only mention all what you dont like in the watch..how about those things in the watch that cannot be compared by other smart watches. like apple watch their battery sucks..and besides apple price is more than twice the huawei gt3 watch. all gadgets who ever made them always there is someone like you to find faults. It is better for you not to buy gadgets.

The GT3 should pair with any Android phone and no, in my experience it's not "slow" at all. The UX is fast and fluid. :)

Which smartwatch do you consider for me to buy - Amazefit GTR 3 pro or Huawei GT 3?

I love this watch i have the sports version but for some reason on the main screen heartrate will reach 150/151 bpm then not go any higher but when i check stats in the app it says heart-rate reavhed 164 😩

now half year later and everything works perfect and i got mine for 143€... i see it as a steal

I have an Huawei Watch GT 2 pro y change for a GT 3 And tell you, what I won: 2 pro have a limit of 32 watchfaces, very low, versus 100 of GT 3. And the manage for change the watchfaces is the better use od the rotating crown.The principal mayor difference is the resistence of the display saphire of 2 pro, versus glass in GT 3 and the price, of course.

disagree with your frustrations, I get frustrated with all the apple products, it's all about one Perspective. about useless. It is obvious all features are not loved by everyone. Also yes companies do exaggerate the features of their product. Even amazfit products

Apple fanboy detected. Have fun charging your watch every day or two. Do you know what's most annoying thing about Apple Watch? Calling it ugly is understatement. Apple also looks like toy compared to GT3 Pro Titanium with titanium strap.

I got Samsung watch 5 Pro from present used it for a week. Didn't like it. The battery it's rubbish only lasted a Day. After some research and reviews. Brought a Huawei GT 3. Battery last 6 days with heavy use. Gym workouts and Bluetooth headphone music through out workouts. It's a fantastic watch. Way better than Samsung. For half the price. I got no problems with what you mentioned there. For the price. it's a fantastic watch. Which has everything. It's The best battery watch.

Lies Battery lasts 3 days. Maybe u didn't condition it correctly Also the Samsung watch is a real smartwatch not a fitness tracker so don't expect the same battery as a tracker Maybe u should have researched more before buying...

I got my GT3 1 week already ... previous is samsung galaxy watch... I must say that although galaxy watch is 1st edition, but still better far way to GT3. it mention battery have 14 days, but I used 2 days and need to charge about 2 hours plus, unless you disable all function like normal watch used only.. Honestly no recommend buy this watch ...
