Witch one is better , huawei gt3 or amazfit gtr 3 pro please help

I got Huawei GT3 a month ago and I am happy with it, I also evaluated Amazfit GTR3 but I went for the Huawei 42mm due to my thin wrist Amazfit does not have a smaller version. Also I got at at a cheaper price than the Amazfit in Australia.

I think you've made the right choice!

Very useful information and comparison. The amazfit is presenting very good value indeed compared to the Huawei. I prefer the flat screen of the huawei. The message reply and call answering functionality can be a deal breaker for some. I'll stick to my gt2e for now, that huawei is still supporting well, just got the petal maps add on update

My thoughts exactly. GT2e is awesome, and what I admire about it is the fact they still receive firmware updates.

I was wondering what is the difference between The GT3 and GT3 Pro by Amazfit?

I currrently have the Huawei GT2 Pro, which I got at a discounte price and I really love it. Does anyone know if the HarmonyOs update is coming to this watch?

They used to say it will come. But after such a long time - I don't really think so.

No one describe the toggle menu ,can i put the huawei on vibrations from the drop down menu like in smasung watch?

What useful for me is the vibration that comes with the notification. Thats all i need.....

Yeah, Huawei watches give you more options for a Huawei phone.

Great review, Mike! You even captured the annoying shortcomings of the GT3 with the iPhone. iIMHO, what really kills the budget smartwatches (even more than the lack of software expandability via an app store) is that, if you want better firmware/software on the watch, you have to buy a new watch. After two years a user will typically wind up spending the same money on cheaper alternatives and wind up with a drawer of them (like I have :-(. Keep up the great work!

I most often use Huawei's GT 3.

All the rounds are very close for me to give anyone of them a win, except the functionality part which with a speaker and the ability to respond sms/whatsapp messages on huawei makes it a clear winner for me.

@@NKomarov lol I am using one and it is not sms only. It is whatsapp, sms, telegram etc. Any app that lets you respond from notification pane on your phone is possible.

Hello all. I bought GTR 3 around two months ago. Have to say that I really love this watch. For me, the most important feature was the battery life. I am not using AoD, so I can squeeze around two weeks on battery which is amazing for me. And it's also cheaper, so it was really a no brainer.

Glad to hear you like it. Indeed - without AOD, battery life is insane.

In the US it's so much easier to buy the amazfit devices, that gives another leg up for me. I would like to test out the gt 3 series though for their automatic workout detection and see how useful their system is compared to PAI on the amazfit gtr 3, which I quite like for general health.

Suunto 3 is a very different one - much smarter but also - with way shrorter battery life. The GT3 continues to be on my wrist as I'm writing this.

Why when im using gtr 3 running outdoor it keeps vibrating while running?

I had an Amazfit GTR watch which I used for swimming. For the last two years it has had an intermittent bug which Amazfit acknowledged - where the watch doesn't count the lap distance properly. They have fixed it twice and but it is broken once again. I gave up and ordered a Huawei GT 3. Further, their customer support is also hopeless!

best function on watch gt 3, can answer a call dircetly thru phone and wireless charging..thats 2 thing matter right now..with dirty hand during job who want to pickup a call thru phone..need to charge watch? now smart phone can do reverse wireless charging..u can charge your phone everywhere anywhere..

I wanted a smartwatch that looks good, doesn't look like some G-shock device, so I can use it while wearing a suit and while wearing hiking clothes. Has good battery life, route navigation and doesn't cost more than 500 Euros. GT 3 Elite (Stainless steel version) ticks all the boxes. Btw, route navigation seems to be the most overlooked feature of this watch in KZread videos and I believe it brings this watch close to some Suunto or Garming devices.

wondering how the Amazfit won the design categoring. As someone who is a traditional watch enthusiest the Huawei design is just way better. It's more elegant looking and doesn't look as cheap as the Amazfit. The cheap looking crown alone on the Amazfit is somewhat of a turn off. I guess the amazfit would be better for people who just want a smart watch and don't appreciate watch design as much and the Huawei would be more for people are the opposite. The curved screen is a bonus but neither are saphire so nothing to write home about.

Definitely right. Huawei has a superior design & various sizes + golden ones for women. I've gor Huawei GT3 cheaper than Amazfit GTR 3 in my country.. and combined with speakers (the most important feature) it makes Huawei a winner for me.

Two of my favourite smart watches. I ended up getting the Amazfit GTR Pro 3 because the Huawei smart watches didn't sync my steps with the Huawei fit app on Android which I found extremely frustrating and off-putting.

If you need to make phone calls via the watch - GTR 3. but the T-Rex 2 is in my opinion the overall better watch.

I would go all out for the Amazfit GTR 3 if not for the small screen size. Sadly 37mm is too small for me personally.

My gt2 is now having screen dieing issues(turning to unreadable lines and spots, but comes right a few hour's later) at 2+ years old, hence checking reviews(always on max brightness, vibration etc) ps, i got a free replacement at just 6 months, when sound and vibration both died. But checking prices here in nz, the amazfit is dearer than the gt3, and hasn't got some of the features i want in an upgrade, so its another huawei for me too.

@@TechMishka I hope so too, got the gt 3 on saturday,($438 here) like it so far. Starting to think, the gt2 may have water in it, as it starts working fine again, after leaving in a shaded hot spot, with speaker pointed upwards, and another time, it started working after putting in fridge for an hour (had been dead for 24 hours both times), so thinking moisture evaporating and condensing perhaps.

@@TechMishka update- Took the back off gt2, and left sitting on a dehumidifier for 6 hours at 40%rh, and has not failed in the 18hrs since, so fingers crossed i was right. Screws for back were a bit loose, so possible cause as o-ring not compressed enough. Re first failure, i suspected it was the work i was doing, that may have caused it, as i was using impact drills a lot, and kango hammers too, since then i got in the habit of taking it off while using them. Edit, spoke too soon, its 14 more hours later, and its gone again, and got a bit hot, perhaps its a battery issue.

For me Amazfit win 😍😍😍, great review Mihail as usual 👍🏻

Why do you think so? The GT Runner should be comparable to Garmin's models.

The fact that the GT 3 has only 32mb ram is a big nono for me so I ended up ordering the GTR 3 pro last night and still alot cheaper! Thank you the video tho :)

The S1 has some more features in my opinion.

HR monitors of Amazfit are abysmal. Although everything else on Amazfit lineup is attractive but their HR for some reason cannot keep up with sudden spikes/changes in HR that is a huge drawback in my opinion.

I own both and I have to say the Amazfit doesn’t work fine on workout modes. I am running on the gym and I can count my pulses around 140 while the watch is counting 90-100. HUAWEI gt3 never had such issues. Overall the quality of HUAWEI is higher and there is no comparison between the two of them. I think Amazfit is just fine for a person who just wants a very basic smartwatch without any expectations at all.

👍 Are both running the latest firmware?

Confused, how are u confirming that the accuracy is good on both? Most reviewers state heart rate tracking on amazfit during activity is poor but resting rate is good. GPS on amazfit is meant to be excellent. Sleep tracking rubbish in both.

I often follow the same type of workouts and know my body performance pretty well. Wrist measures are never perfectly accurate, but these watches are doing a good job.

It's no contest. The Huawei gt3 pro is not most accurate watch fir androud users out there. The fitness and HR accuracy is almost up with apple. The GT3 pro is better than the GT3. The Huawei gt3 pro is the best Apple alternative watch out there

If you are an Android Samsung Phone/Google Messages user (like me), the GT3 does not allow for auto text replies, so that becomes a wash for me. That, combined with the Pro version of GTR's ability to answer calls (and, it has Amazon Alexa), really makes the Amazfit a win.

My GT3 can answer/make calls, and can quick reply to SMS from my Samsung phone (just gotta turn off - use wifi to send SMS/MMS setting in the messages app (chat settings), to only using celular data options.

You can actually. You need to set the auto text replies on app called health and you also can make a call from the watch.
