A former neighbor drove truck and kept the whole block in free quality fruits and veg thanks to senseless rejections of loads. Its a shame how much food goes to waste in this country.

Having been primarily a tanker hauler, parking a trailer straight was not usually an issue because the hose made up for a crappy backup job. But when hauling box trailers I was fine if there were other parked trailers or if there were lines painted to indicate a straight trailer position. BUT if there were no other trailers or lines to help, it was driver clown rodeo time. Terribly embarrassing, but I did manage to pull off 2.5 million accident free miles before retiring.

Walmart rejected the produce because they wasn’t almost rotten. The peppers looked great better than what Walmart sells. I hate Walmart produce once you get them home you only have 2 days before they are no good 🤮🤢

I slide my tandems first. The longer the trailer the easier to back. Just put the tires on the line and follow it in. When i pulled a refer i ate good. There was so much stuff. My freezer was full, i gave some to other people.

Produce is nvr in perfect shape, Biggest crook in trucking is hauling produce. Sometimes the shipper will give you 4 good pallets of produce, And 20 pallets of bad produce.

Hate to say it but that’s all part of trucking, I recall when I drove for Ashley Furniture Industries Rent a Centers would reject a whole group of bedroom sets if even one piece was damaged so if they were the 1st stop on a 6-7 drop load you’d have to work around whatever number of pieces they rejected not fun. I cannot see why 18 wheelers are not equipped with a surround-camera system. Cameras can give a driver so much information that it drastically reduces the possibility of hitting something. Yes, backing up is a great skill, but this is so antiquated 👈🏾

I like your videos you are beautiful I got out of trucking about 10 years ago maybe longer and I haven't been back I got my own business working on cars it's not easy sometimes when you don't have a steady check but I keep pushing and driving for more you got to have a winners attitude a winners spirit you do what you feel is best for you but they're always going to need truckin unless they come up with some other form of shipping and I used to hear people say you're going to make a $80,000 starting off running a truck I didn't I worked like a slave I hold fuel I hold steal a whole gravel crush cars towed cars I've done everything from heavy to medium duty to light duty I didn't mind when I used to have a couple routes and I could be home by a certain time every day but them days are long gone if I'm not making at least 75 to $100 an hour or more with what I know and what I can do and how talented I am I am not even getting in the truck or seat or anything they have to pay me if they want me to work for them and then they have to treat me well I used to hate where I'd be on a load and they say hey even though I'm on a set load every day can you go do this other load it was no touch fright just like you're doing but then I felt like a prisoner of the road and I was away from my family a lot I'm so glad now I got my own business I'm My own Boss self-made entrepreneur from the bottom I call the shots now yeah I might not have a check that comes in but it's well worth it when I see them big money come in just off a handshake and somebody believing in me😊

No, I live in Maryland we just have traffic congestion, even weekend traffic looks like rush hour traffic, lot of different States traveling through you get the District of Columbia (Washington) on the Southern end of Maryland and the rest is mainly Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and of course Marylander’s stay on the go, smh 🤦🏽‍♀️! It’s not about the bridge at all that collapsed bridge is on the Eastern side of Maryland, and she was on the Northwest end of Maryland( she was in Jessup, Maryland) it’s just heavily populated and traveled going towards the District of Columbia and Virginia.
